buildit
Something I've learned from Off road riding is how to handle obstacles like ruts or potholes. Obviously the first option is to avoid them all together if possible. When that fails, knowing how to ride over them in a controlled fashion is a must. To that end, Sunday I made a video showing the proper way to traverse a pothole or rut. While this video is off road it applies to road bikes because impacting the obstacle with the front tire can result in a loss of control. In stead knowing how to preload the front shock and wheelie just enough to clear allows the rear to really absorb all the punishment and keep you in control. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUPt0pUGzlc
