RVTPilot
Hey gang. The Mrs. has an '05 Saturn Vue that snapped the manual transmission cables (which apparently is a common issue with GMs) and am having trouble hunting down a set. I have called CPW and AutoZone up here, both of which said its a dealer part. I can find them online, but until I can get them in, I need to pull a set. I know a lot of guys on here do auto work, so if someone here knows a reputable salvage yard between C-town and C-bus, I would appreciate their info on said establishment. I have also read online that some folks have had success modding a "standard" throttle cable in place of the OEM gear, and wonder if some of our resident gearheads have performed a similar mod? Thanks gang for any help you might have!
