max power
Truck dude is fucked. His insurance company is gonna be PISSED. Never Admit Guilt (especially on camera)Good thing the rider wasnt being reckless like his friend or the insurance co. might have grounds for denial. Scruit
The pickup driver apparently gave false insurance details because the company he quote said they never heard of him.

Scruit
What I don't understand is that guy got his leg crushed between a moving pickup and a moving bike - hard enough to knock the bike what looked to be about 30' (the the far corner of intersection?) and he has no broken bones, just needs to let it heal up.Then there's a guy I know who was riding his Harley through a parking lot at parking lot speed and was hit by a car pulling out of a parking space - and he lost his leg. When I made the raised footpegs for my son (will be 8yo in 3 weeks) I specifically made them higher than a car's bumper for THIS VERY REASON. If we get t-boned then his leg will not be pinned. Of course the rest of the accident is in God's hands, but at least that really obvious primary injury mechanism is avoided. (I have hards bags and engine guards, so I expect I'd be ok in a parking lot t-bone but would anticipate no real protection at road speed)
