Any interest in a S&W model 57 .41 mag?

A guy I work with has a model 57 he is looking to get rid of. I kinda got asked to help him. It is pretty clean and seems to be in good working order. He was given the gun from a family member when someone passed away. He has no interest in keeping it. I will post pics when he gives some to me, and see what his price is, he asked me to set the price on it. From what I have seen they sell used for around $650-$800. his would be in 80-85% condition with a box or two of ammo. Here is a online pic of what they look like till I get some pics of his gun.

Ok so I got the gun picked up tonight. It is a 5 inch barrel sorry gump. And there is no box just a soft sided case. I will give it a once over this weekend and get some pics up. He said he would like to get around $650 obo for it.

So buy it then buy a longer barrel for it? LOL it's in pretty good shape could use a little clean up and oil but is a solid 80-85% gun.

Just a FYI, I realize you want a 6" barrel but a 5" is legal now.

Huh? Thanks. Wonder when that changed or if I was always wrong. I'll have to measure my 357mag again.

Not wrong, it used to be a 6" min., I'm not sure exactly when it changed but 5" has been legal since at least 2007.

To the top. Anyone still interested in this? He seems pretty firm on the $650 price tag. It is going with me to the gun show next weekend. I cleaned it up looks very good now. Let me known if you want pics.
