bambam
The Honda driver driver made it look so easy staying with that piece of rubbish Ducati. The rider was really working up a sweat and getting reeled in in the turns every time. How embarrassing!
Hoblick
A road like that of course a car like an s2000 with an experienced driver, who knows the road very very well. Will keep up.Short burst roads with a ton of tight curves, sports car wins everytime.Put them on mid ohio and see what happens lol
bambam
Yes, an age old debate. I was commenting really on how smooth and relaxed the driver seemed to be versus how 'busy' the rider appeared. Having said that though, I prefer to ride every time for that very reason: the bike demands more from one and is ultimately more satisfying.(Caveat: I would certainly not be able to stay with either of them in either a car or on a bike.)Have you been out on your new MTS yet, for any distance? Interested to hear your impressions of the ABS...
BadTrainDriver
Hoblick is right.I don't have a hard time believing the S2000 could keep up...I was extremely surprised how fast my 2007 STi was through the gap on my trip down late last year.I've got video...but the perception of speed just doesn't come across very well. bambam
Were you one of the STis in that 2 day long parade we saw down there in September last year?

BadTrainDriver
No. Just me and a buddy of mine went down...I actually went down a day before him, met up with him the next day, did the gap, 28, Cherohala, etc... and came home via the BRPW up to I77.Trust me. We held no one up.I'm not a fan of large groups...bikes or cars.Feel free to ask around about that.I'm kinda notorious about that in my circle of friends.
