Tonik Posted April 19, 2012 Report Share Posted April 19, 2012 Had the day off today, Thanks Obama!! Hit the back roads and surprisingly found myself in front of Fin Feather and Fur. They had a Kimber Solo in the case and I had been thinking about it so I had them get it out.Damn did it feel heavy. Not sure why it is way lighter than my XDM 40 sub-compact but it felt heavy. Almost front heavy. Slide sucked, pulling was awkward and almost difficult. Trigger pull was very smooth but a little long for my taste. Thumb safety sucked, I would not want to have to undo that to save my life. Too far up and back, it was a very awkward motion to hit and it wasn't wide enough...you had to hit it dead on.The one they had was just a 'demo'. 9 month waiting list to get it. shadyone Posted April 19, 2012 Report Share Posted April 19, 2012 My Brothers GF bought one. It is very front heavy though I had no trouble with hitting the safety. it shoots nice but not $800 nice.
