I need a 25 pin serial cable (Straight Thru)

I know there is a place in Grandview that makes cables. I can not think of the name of it. Looking for someone local so I can try and get the dyno up and runnning today.

Microcenter should have them. Just need to ask for a DB25 extension cable (male on one end, female on the other).

I can't find anyone else local that might have them. Office Max and Staples both have them, but online only. It's an old technology not used anymore.

Other idea would be try a DB25 to USB cable. Just have to know if the dyno needs a male or female connector.

If you say serial, some might think that can't be what they have. I could be mistaken on this, but I'm pretty sure. It's been a long time since I've messed with parallel/serial cables. A DB25 cable is generally a parallel cable (for printers, scanners, etc). A DB25 extension cable supports parallel and serial connections. So calling it a 25 pin serial cable could easily cause confusion and for someone to think it is not the same as a DB25 extension cable. FYI.
