USC has no bearing on carrying a knife, regardless of any 2.5" rule imposed by the USC. The feds aren't going to sweep in and take over some misdemeanor CCW of a knife case from local LE.If you are carrying a concealed knife (or other weapons as identifed by the OP) and you are a piece of shit and are actively breaking the law, it'll probably be a CCW charge.If you are carrying a concealed knife and you are a decent human being, it'll probably not be.Since, as the OP articulated, the law is not clear cut; it leaves room for the officer and prosecutor to have some discretion on the matter. I was at the gun show today and got to check out some of the spartan knifes. Very well made and are unreal how sharp they are for their size.
