Well we've been married a few months now, and i just don't give her the time she deserves. I'd rather spend my time riding and going out and partying.. I paid a huge price to have her, but I'm going to let her go for $500 if they can prove they would be a better husband than I... Thanks for looking!11 points

Bro I ll be real honest, that post made me sick. You got the dog, and I understand that now you may regret it but, you don't just give her away to "ride" and be busy. You make time for them, you act like an adult. This is how life goes, especially when you become responsible for the life of another animal, adult, child, whatever it may be. A goldfish if needed, I don't care. Maybe you should get off the internet so much starting all kinds of wars and battles with people and acting like a child, and spend time with her. I dunno just a thought. Sorry man, wait no I'm not, but this is something that really hits me hard and I won't sit back just to see another person who made a commitment to an animal who is helpless, and relies on us, just get rid of them so they can spend more time on the internet, or riding so many miles a day. Mods, if you want to edit or remove that is fine, but I don't care. This needs to be said, and I know DAMN well that a lot of you feel the same way so I will get it out there. Hopefully someone who isn't as busy as a 19yr old kid, riding their bike, and being a DB can give this dog what she deserves, a loving home. Try Craigslist too, she deserves way better.5 points

For the good of the dog please DO NOT keep this poor dog. Your actions show that you would have a hard time caring for stuffed animal for any length of time let a lone a high energy, young dog. Do the mature thing admit your fucked up (what's new) and give the dog away. If at 19 you have the backing to have your own house, I'm sure that pipeline can fill that $500 hole pretty quick. One last request please leave this board and do us all a favor. In your 570 posts you have had little if anyone of substance to say. You are an immature, self centered fucking twat. I sure hope you have alot of asprin because when those life lessons come along and you have to grow up you are in for one serious ass kicking with the attitude you have.4 points

just how big and tender is this puppy of yours? I would be willing to give you $4.99/lb for her. If this is agreeable, I will give you the address of my favorite butcher for delivery. I won't be needing the "accessories" you got for her. You can sell that stuff on craigslist. mods can close this thread, I'll paypal him the money after he sends me a weight and paypal address.2 points

...Ringo... I'm embarrased for you. I can't keep her since my house is full of dogs, cats, and kids so I know I am at my limit. If it will make things right for Sky and help you out, I'll BUY her for $300 from you and PM Carwhore or one of the others and give her to them. We all make mistakes in our lives, I'm not clean by any means. Consider this my way of helping you. Seriously, let me know.2 points

Time to dust off the blockquoter... I don't think so, not this time. If that's your defense, you might want to try a different angle. No, you are making an immature decision that is on par with the sea of other immature decisions you won't stop informing us of. Don't care. Still don't care. Wait...nope, thought I cared, but that was just a bluejay flying past. I kinda want a bird... At 24.20 posts per day, you have to be trolling OR for at LEAST 2-3 hours each day. How much of a difference in that dogs life do you think you can make with 1 of those hours? Hey, I just made time! And I can bang Olivia Munn and I am. See how easy this is? Anything can be true! Translation: I'd be more happy with 400 bucks in my pocket to spend on go-fast parts for my bike. It's simple. Rational, responsible, mature adults understand that if there's a life change that's taken place that means they can't take care of their canine family member, they (highly reluctantly) give up said member to a loving family. You, not being any of the above, is doing the equivalent of putting her up on Craigslist with a price tag attached. Dogs get put down all the time. You were too immature to realize it then, seeing only the "pretty dog" and then wanting the "pretty dog" to make sure she wasn't put down. Now comes the responsible part of maintenance and attending to her needs, but you're too busy with internets and riding to completely care about that. But hey, keep posting on here defending yourself instead of taking her out for a little run.2 points

It is due to your post count and how long you have been on the forum. It is a way we limit the people trying to spam on our website to try and just use us for advertising and selling stuff.1 point

Please just give the dog to a good home. I made the same mistake you did at 19 and got a puppy only difference was I started to neglect work and school to spend time with the dog not the other way around. When I did make the decision to give her away I did just that.....gave her away for free. I spent 2 hours with the family to make sure that their dog, kid, and yard was a sutable match as well as doing a full vet reference. She was my every thing and I balled my eyes out as soon as I walked out of their house but I knew that I did the right thing.1 point

@Ringo: Listen to CbrGirl (Carie - which I'm sure I spelled wrong...). She and Ben (Casper) have two (I think) huskies, so she knows what she's talking about when it comes to that breed of dog. I'm not volunteering those two, but I'll go out on a limb here and say that if you wanted help or had specific questions, they would oblige. As others have said, spend a day outside putting in the invisible fence. Have Sky outside with you. She'll enjoy being outside with you, even if she's on a leash. IF you invest time in this dog (or any animal) you'll be rewarded ten-fold. You ever notice how when you get home her tail is wagging like crazy? That's because she's happy to see you. Pay her back by investing some time in her. I know you said you take her on walks, to the park 4 times a week, etc. If that's already happening, you're well on your way. I'd like to ride every single time it's not raining, but I have a young (10) son, and his needs take precedence over ANYTHING else, including work. My rescued dog (Purebred Apalachian Porch Hound, Charlie (or Chuck) is second, my two rescued cats (Maddie and Marcie) are third, coming in last is whatever I want to do. It's all about priorities. Living beings (e.g. children, animals) that can't take care of themselves have to come first in your own list of priorities. Until you're able to be honest with yourself and allow the dog to move to the top of the list, you're doing both of you a disservice. ***edit: I spelled CbrGirl's name right!!!1 point

I'm done with sarcasm now. INSTALL THE FUCKING INVISIBLE FENCE, YOU DUMBSHIT. Turn the fucking computer off, go outside and start planning. While you're outside, play with your fucking dog that I guess you just HAD to keep because people on the internets made you feel like a worthless piece of shit.1 point

cant press charges cause the rider passedon double yellow. But you could have beat the rednecks ass. Full leathers and a helmet can take 1 hit from a tire iron then beat his ass with it. Steal his quad and pawn it for the court bills.1 point

I think not... or anyone else who has said they may be able to take the dog.... NO You are trying to SELL THE DOG..1 point

Your story is TOTAL SH*T. I adopted my dog from Zville pound/shelter too, so I know the facts there. Yes it is a kill facility, BUT dogs are 75.00-125, not 500. Listen give the dog to any of the other people that posted above, and move on. Actually when I said move on, I mean, GTFO of here. Basically you just started a sh*t storm you can't handle by this post, trust me. Too many of us are not only bike lovers but animal lovers. Actually Basco is one of the biggest reasons I sold my street bike. Any time spent away from the house working, commuting, working out, etc. was enough and I knew I wouldnt be able to ride along with all that. Basically you think you are sweet, you say you are in college, run a business, have a house, no one really gives a sh*t. You've brought 0 good to this place, and even if you did save the dog, I am sure someone else would have too from the sounds of it. I've never been really worked up and gotten into a post like this online, mainly because I think cyberfighting is like trying to screw yourself, pointless. But this guy has rubbed me wrong the whole time, and now like i said, you dug a big hole bud. You won't get out of it. EDIT: My neighbors Husky just died actually a few months ago, let me ask them if they want it. Then you have like 4 people that would take her off your hands so you can ride and spend time doing all this other important stuff, because obviouslly spending time off the internet with her isn't.1 point
-
Not going to give you shit but if your being honest about caring wanting her to have a good life go with carwhore. Chalk the money you spent up as a loss and maybe saving the dogs life will go in your good karma bank. Use it as a life lesson and move on.1 point
-
I'm calling bullshit. If you in fact take her to the park 4 times a week, have a "pretty big yard" and she's out running around almost all day, then what is the problem? You want her to have a better life? No, you don't want to deal with her shit so you can post/ride more. If you wanted to keep her around, you would have installed the invisible fence that would allow you a little more "hands-off" time since she would have boundaries that you didn't have to enforce. Or, more likely, you read the instructions on the fence and saw it required pretty hands-on training which would interfere with your internet lifestyle. If it's so hard for you, shut the computer down, man the fuck up, and enjoy your dog's company as much as she enjoys yours.1 point

I don’t admit any of my strategies to anyone. Not saying that I carry, but if I did it would be used only for the worst-case-scenario. I realize that a CHL is not a permit to shoot or kill—only a permit to carry a concealed handgun to defend oneself and or another innocent. If drawn and fired, most probably will be going to jail until all of the details are ironed out…And almost definitely going to incur several thousand $ in legal fees to maintain that it was the only option. Not saying I have any skills, but if I have Krav and Aikido training—that would be my primary resource to remove myself from the situation. Not a fan of pepper spray, as one could just as easily disable oneself, especially if discharging into the wind…I would probably prefer a tac light, especially since criminals tend prefer low-light situations to operate. 120-or-so lumens to the eyes will temporarily blind an attacker even in daylight. It also generally tends to put them in a disoriented defensive position allowing for a good strike/kick/stomp. The light can also become a weapon of opportunity at this point. A good strike to the clavicle with a flashlight can disable the limb. Just sayin'...1 point

The key is to remove you from the situation. If something starts you try to avoid the conflict. I have a new motto lately I don't go to stupid places with stupid people and do stupid things. Bars aren't stupid places but when people start puffing up and it looks like something might happen ill remove myself from that place before it turns stupid, that either means moving to the other end of the place or leaving completely. And personal protection to me isn't a fashion show lol. If I look like a woman carrying a small thing of pepper spray im fine with that. If it keeps me from having to shoot some drunk asshole cuz he is drunk and making a bad life choice im ok with that. In the other thread the newb asked if we just carried to feel like hard ass. I carry for my protection and if I have layers of protection with my gun as my last option. If shit got ugly real fast I would not hesitate to skip straight to final option. Everyone that makes the decision to carry a gun needs to know that from the moment you stick it in tour pocket or holster it on your side any fight or conflict you get in there will be a gun involved, even if its never drawn.1 point

71 rounds fired is beyond ridiculous. Not to mention 60 of those connected with the man's body. I understand "heat of the moment", but emptying and entire magazine just goes to show that these guys were amateurs. These guys have no business conducting raids by any means. They let their fear take over and act for them. I bet if the initial guy through the breach had a less than lethal round in his shotgun, they could've saved an innocent life. It is disgusting that they dishonored this Marine in this way. I'm all for these turds not having a badge and spending some time in the booty house.1 point

You sound like a crazy fucking hermit. It seems like you're just making shit up. I HAVE INSIDE INFORMATION ABOUT GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACIES AND COVER UPS. IT IS ALL VERY PSYCHOLOGICAL. LISTEN TO THIS: ONE TIME THERE WAS A COP WHO WAS MEAN WHO SHOT SOMEONE AND THEN A CAT GOT RABIES AND A PIGEON WAS FOUND WITH A MICROCHIP IN ITS BEAK. THAT MEANS THERE WAS DEFINITELY A SECOND GUNMAN ON THE GRASSY KNOLL. DO YOU WANT TO CONTINUE THIS FIGHT?1 point

Hi to all, I'm Andrew and I have been meaning to join Columbus Racing for a while and just now got around to doing so. My dad got me into cars at a very young age and in the past 5 years mainly Oldsmobile. A lot of people ask me why Oldsmobile? Well I personally like to be unique and to most younger car people today Oldsmobile does not even register in their mind as having anything to do with performance. So thats why I choose Olds. This has not been my first Olds either. Before this I had a 1988 Cutlass supreme classic with a stock 72 350 and th350 3speed as well. So heres my ride. 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Car came with a blown up 307 5.0L V8 that was taken out the second day I had the car. From the day I tore the motor out of the car I started my build with a 1972 Oldsmobile 350. Motor is standard bore, 10:1 compression, comp cams dual energy cam, aluminum intake, 800CFM Q-Jet, Hedman headers, dual flowmaster exhaust with X-pipe. This is all backed up by a built TH350 3 speed with 2.56 gears in the rear. All work to this car has been done by me. The only thing I was unable to do was the machine work. Looking forward to meeting some new people that are into cars around Columbus. Heres a couple pics.
