  4. None that I know of. If the original question was what good-handling lightweight bike should I buy for under $4k used, I would also have suggested an SV650 or an EX500. I'd personally buy either one over a GS500, no question. But the orignial question was whether a Ninja 250 or a GS500 would make a better platform for the project he has in mind. He said he wasn't interested in an SV, for purely personal reasons, so I didn't suggest one. He also said he liked the idea of the simple air-cooled engine on the GS and that power wasn't that important to him, so I didn't mention the EX. When someone asks, "Which is better, X or Y," I don't see the point in the inevitable six pages of posts by people saying "Z is much better," especially since 90% of those posters own a Z. But freedom of speech is alive and well here at OR, so you guys can go on another ten pages trying to change his mind if you like.

  5. I guess that is Clay's decision to make. Is the 10K worth it to him? He's also looking at convertibles, last I checked Vert Termi's weigh about 18,000lbs and aren't exactly going to blow the doors off of much. If he's just looking to cruise around with a loud pipe'd V8 with the top down, who cares how much power it has? 7. Would have been more epic if a 22 yr old man shot a home intruder with a .92 caliber bullet.

  8. Why does this surprise you..... oh wait I know why. Because nobody here listens to Flounder or myself when we tell how deadly a 22 is. This guy knew. He grabbed the right gun. A very agonizing slow death. Maybe you guys will listen now but I doubt it.

  13. Have someone paint you a nice picture...not tattoo it on your body. Tattoos equal white trash. With your accent, you can't pull off white trash.

  16. How can you possibly argue that they are all deadbeats? You must just be that great of a person Seriously though, there are so many scenarios that you can paint one way or the other but that does not make all of those individuals deadbeats. You have no idea what their situation is. How the fuck do you know if they are spending hours tracking people down? Everything you are arguing is pure speculation on your end. Plain and simple, I have a problem with this practice and I dont believe officers should be collecting debts. This stems from a money hungry department. 99% of departments do not do this and there is a reason why. Im sure if you asked these officers what they think about having to do this, they would say it is BS. I have been through the academy and they dont teach debt collection there.
