Meh, didnt expect it to be taken as advice so much as a poorly placed joke....which I'm damn good at in case you haven't noticed!1 point

I'll be in soon to order that .308 I was talking to Dale about. And just to clarify. Women shouldn't own guns, or motorcycles, or leave the kitchen.1 point

Might be a good place to plug this site - cycle-ergo.com You can see how, approximately, one would sit on any particular bike. Seems about accurate based on the bikes that I've owned thus far...1 point

Happy to help guys - I got the link here last year, so I figured I'd pay it forward, right?1 point

Hardly a straw purchase "not even close", no official paperwork and not an FHL transaction. Personal transaction and firearms dont have to be transferred or even registered in Ohio.1 point

As others have said, try before you buy if possible. Dale and Todd at Delta Epsilon are good people. Ignore the "9mm is no good for defense". 9mm > 0mm, just as .380 ACP > .0 ACP and 22LR > 0LR. Sounds like a man phone. He's done, make him a sammich.1 point

Except for the new Gen IV, Glocks are a horrible horrible choice for small hands. Now if I were a betting man, I would bet she would really like how an M&P 9 compact will feel. I also agree 100% with Todd on the PF-9 as a good choice, fit great in the hand and are very reliable, just ask the Martin family. But 22 pistols are so much fun, some really great choices given for those.1 point

Seconding the used T2i. I bought a T3i last year, and its a great starter DSLR. Don't skimp on the glass though.1 point

I agree, for under $500 you probably need to get a T1i or T2i, Great camera's I had a T2i before I bought my 7D. Virtually the same sensor. Of course then you really need to save your money and get some good glass because the kit lenses are not nearly as good as some of the at least gold line lenses or the L series stuff.1 point

Shut your pie hole, I gave you and that sweet lady of yours props in this cluster fuck of over opinionated gun nuts thread. That being said, I'm in the shop tomorrow and Thursday 2-7 so come spend spend some money and we both know MJ misses me1 point

If you're going with a T series, get a Ti. Probably your best bang for the buck in an entry level DLSR.1 point

Theres CLEARLY some cat owners/ animal haters in this thread. Why is it the dogs fault that the kid fell on it and it nipped at them? derp logic. I have 2 twin boy infants and when they get older and fuck with my dog and he nips back i'm sure not gonna be all "herp derp stupid dog, time to throw you out or put you down." They will learn. Its not the dogs fault. If you can't realize that then you shouldn't own animals in the first place. But also like others said. You should claim alpha in the beginning in case he nips/acts aggressive out of nowhere. I have no problem snatching up my dog and putting him to the ground to show him not to do certain things or act a certain way. For the most part he's good.1 point

that will be the next step, I just know there is plenty of people here that take nice pictures and have more trust in the members of this site over ebay and craigslist1 point

This is not true. One of the most lethal rounds for a headshot is a .22lr. It has enough force to enter the skull but not exit. Just bounces around.... Shot placement. Practice practice practice. Nothing is more important. Whatever you carry you need to run about 500-1000 rounds through it before you are competent to accurately carry it. Even then if you are carrying without doing high stress situational training, you will not be prepared for a self defense situation. Drawing from a holster or firing from cover for the first time in a defense situation....bad news.1 point

I get my limited knowledge from listening to howie chat, and COD lol. I hope i'm not the most knowledgable lady here.1 point

Cooter I respect your job and all but this is wrong. The judge is junk. The reason police dont hit their targets are because most only shoot during qualifications. 9mm is used the world over. I would bet it is right behind 7.62 in terms of number of kills.1 point

Took it for a 1/2 hour cruise last night, runs perfect-needs an alignment. Went to Forced Fags, no one was there! Got gas, roll down 480, tuned around and came home. Took Coldwater for a rip, he likes it for just 13psi.. Still needs a few hours of wiring to make it tune/race worthy.1 point

I'm just curious why now though? She's done the same thing to the kid so many times let alone walks under our feet all the time. She's not fixed could she be in heat and just irritable more easily?-1 points
