/\ /\ /\ This She asked a price. She didn't ask if you liked the price. Maybe there's someone out there that would bite. If I decided to sell my NSR, I'd ask more than I thought it was worth and more than others were selling-for. Maybe someone will bite. If you don't like her price, move on. Why give her grief? Just mumble under your breath that it probably won't sell for that much, but wish her luck. This is NOT a big deal in the grand scheme. This whole dogpile thing has gotten way out of hand lately. She's not a noob (400+ posts), and handled you all much better than I probably would have.3 points

I don't post here all that much and it's not my forum. But, if I was Ben, and you came on my forum to gouge my members, your thread would be locked and you on probation for selling things until you can look out for the interest of members better. Putting arms list pricing on here just says "fuck you OR, I'm about me". It's just in poor taste. Worst part is, the person that would pay that now, probably isn't allowed to own a gun. And going by the rape pricing, I can't imagine there's much care of that or not.2 points

Unfortunately I will not be able to join in; I have a previous commitment. I would like to add that during this time of year, many farmers will be working their fields. On roads like 555, it's not uncommon to pop up over a blind crest and find a tractor putting along at 3.5mph! They also leave copious amounts of mud and crud on the road, all in an effort to keep things interesting! I don't know if the organizers (dis-organizers/herder of cats) utilize a sign-in sheet, but that's a good idea too. Have riders list their name/handle/bike/cell #/emergency contact name and #, make 2 copies, if possible (one for lead, one for sweep). There may be an iPhone/Android app that could make this easy, IDK. You may also want to make sure that you have some type of medical information on your person, just in case. Might I recommend "the ICE Device" or "RoadID"? Having led a group ride in which a rider crashed (broke his back!), in the middle of no-where, with no cell coverage, having something like a Spot tracker is also a good idea. I had to "push the button" to summon help to our location. At that time, I DID NOT have good contact information about the rider, so it was difficult to contact his wife. Heck, I didn't even know how to spell his last name, so that complicated matters ALOT! A few precautionary steps before the event can save alot of hassles, and maybe even someone's life! If group sizes get to be 10 or more, consider using the "Drop and Sweep" method. This is the ONLY way I will conduct a group ride now, having used it for several years. Considering the wide range of bikes and riders that will be participating in this event, it really should be considered. It's not complicated at all and MOST people pick up on how to do it very quickly. Feel free to PM me if you want more info. I hope no one thinks that I'm "dissin" this event, or it's organizers. I just want to pass on some knowledge (mostly learned the HARD way!) that I feel can make a difference! Here's hoping you all have a safe and enjoyable ride!2 points

I'm suppose to tell about me and whats going on in my life. Well, here you go. Im currently residing in a halfway house. Its not as glamorus as it may seem , I'm bunking up with John Voight and a guy who swears he's Ms.Cleo, yes, advisor to the stars, this guy is crazy as a box of shit but he can make mac and cheese so good it will make a fat baby fart. I've kinda been forced into moving here just coming back from my second tour in nam. I was a POW. I was held against my will for two years in a rice pattie. Those little yellow bastards really did a number on me. I lost my left leg, three fingers on my left hand and my right arm below my elbow. You try opening a can drink without hating on an asian. There are also mental scars as well. I cant stand being around loud noises or anyone that looks like William Hung without pissing myself. Don't get much sleep either, I'm having the same reoccuring dream of a shark eating Samuel Jackson, the damn shark ate him. But I cant put all the blame on them after I was released. I didnt sleep for 3 days because I went on a pcp binge with two Korean midgets which landed me in jail for two months. Even though it doesnt sound like anything I would do, the cops said something about a rude sexual act that involved a goat and a one eyed hooker. Since I've been back I haven't really tried to give up any of my addictions. Shooting up heroin is a daily thing and I love chilling with Lamont and One Eye Willy behind the bus station. They always have the coldest Wild Irish Rose in town. It's like Frosty the snowman is blowing sweet kisses down my throat. I'm trying to hold down a steady job but Wal-mart isn't really paying what I want and I hate sitting on the that little soap box they have for me. I feel like I'm a side show act. Plus if I have to say welcome to Wal-mart one more fucking time I'm going to kill some damn body. Plus my boss wanted me to start up a soccer team for my co workers and me to boost morale. Yeah asshole, I have one leg. But seeing what I did at my last job to get fired, I'm happy to have one at all. Who knew I couldn't use the bathroom to record a movie starring a blind girl, two german sheperds and alot of baby oil, fuck Colonel Sanders , ya dick. I have some side projects going but they aren't really hitting on shit right now. I'm going to try to get back into tv or movies. Before the war, I was an extra on Saved By The Bell, The College Years, I was in the last episode of the Fall Guy and I did a Stove Top Stuffin' commercial. My manager says they're wanting someone for a lead role as a midget in Gullivers Travels, so im keeping my fingers crossed and just hoping for the best. Anyway, I'm going to go get some new shoes today. They better give me them bitches half off or at least sell me two right ones. Despite all the bad things that have happened to me, I'm not bitter. So if you see me walking by with a tear drop in my eye look away oh yes, baby look away. and yes....I have too much time on my hands........but seriously....... The truth is.... I'm 29 years old, born and raised in North Carolina. I've been living in Ohio since 1998. I still don't understand this buckeye madness, but oh well. My husband Mark and I have been married a little over a year now. He is the better half. Don't judge him by my character No kids, just pets. Before the company I work for got bought out, I did IT work, primarily DBA and EDI. Now I just sit here and get dumber everyday. Same pay, less work, I ain't gonna complain! I've decided it is time to go back to school and finish up that degree and get up to par on what's going on in the IT world before anyone in payroll notices me and fixes any glitches. I grew up playing poker with my family and friends and I always enjoy a good game either live or online. I don't really care to be on TV or win anything major. I don't dedicate what it takes to be able to play at that level anyway. Who knows! Besides, I enjoy taking the local money to supplement my income ha ha. If I'm not in class, not at work, not playing poker, or not at work playing poker and the weather is nice, I like to ride around on my motorcycle. I have a CBR600RR and a VStar 1100 Classic. One bike to zip around on and another to just go cruising on.1 point

To the CR Community...I was talking to my close friend, Bill W, the other day and he mentioned the track day at Trails. He said that I should come out & visit & maybe bring my 'new to me' car. I told him that I would really enjoy spending some time with him & his wife, & it would be nice to see how my LS powered car would run. He told me that he was a senior member of CR and that I should consider joining the community. So since I am not really familiar with LS motors, I thought this would be a great place to learn more about them and save myself a lot of trial & error, which would also save me money that I could use to go faster. I am a hard core Christian first, & second I am a hard core racer that just wanted to try to share info so that I might be able to help someone else & to learn what I could about LS motors & what to do to them. I sincerely apologize for offending &/or upsetting so many of you & causing such a commotion. Again, to the CR community I apologize profusely because I am not on the Internet too much & I was not aware of the importance of introducing myself &/or what to post. God has been very good to me, and allowed me to do quite a lot in my over 50 years of racing. My accomplishments are HIS & not mine, so I do not list or claim them. Again, please accept my sincere apology. Lee Howie1 point

They are illegal to use not own. But you have to make the decision what is more important your life or someone talking on the phone. Besides how are you going to get caught? You can buy a good one online for less than $150.00 I have one I bought for use on my bike while riding but it did not work out as well as planned. It jammed all the phones out to over 100 yards great but women when crazy and started to weave all over the road and paid less attention to where they are going trying to find out why their phone stopped working. Had one almost run off the road in to a ditch.1 point

I'll also add a few things. We offer something no other concealed carry class offers, suppressed shooting for pregnant women! I know many ladies self preservation instincts go into overdrive when they become pregnant and that's when many finally consider getting their CHL. At that point though they are also worried about the loud bangs at the range scaring the little bun in the oven. My offer to you, suppressors. For no charge I will have a suppressor on hand for you to use at your turn to shoot, my gift to you. I do not charge for this because I want women to protect theirselves and I don't want noise to be the reason you don't. If you want this class and you are pregnant just let me know and I will accommodate your needs.1 point

Mr. Howie, It is I that should apologize to you. Often times, we take for granted that there is another person on the other side of the monitor and tend to de-personalize them as is common on internet forums. I have been guilty of this in the past, and I was guilty of the same in this situation. If in any way I deterred you or created a level of doubt as to what the quality of this Community is like, I sincerely apologize. Columbus Racing is an amazing group of people, owned/managed by an equally great team. I am not one that personally races a vehicle currently, but am and have been an avid car/motorcycle enthusiast since I was young, so my interest in the sport is ever-evolving and broadening. I hope to be able to expand upon that knowledge by your future postings and respect your accomplishments in the short time that I've been able to read of & research them. Again, I would like to apologize to you individually as well as to my fellow CR members for being out of line regarding Mr. Howie's intro thread. Rest assured that proper adjustments have been made and going forward, will be put in place. Welcome to Columbus Racing, -Tim1 point

Jeez...Let the guy (attempt to) sell his stuff for whatever asking price he chooses. I haven't seen so much threadcrapping since Exarch's daily diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain.1 point

I see you do not post her often. We do not try to gouge our fellow OR members here. We lookout for one another and offer each deals. http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=102752 If we find deals we pass them along. This is not a place to take advantage of your fellow riders.1 point

I don't know how I missed this thread before, I would never miss an opportunity for a fight to the death! "I'm Spartacus Closer!" "No, I'm Closer!" I ended up buying his machine, and conveniently live no more than 5 minutes away. I'm not sure where the territory lines are though, we might have to have a few gangland fights to determine that. Edit: Anyone know what the strike-through code is?1 point
