  3. The problem of irresponsible owners is a major issue. People just don't care about their responsibilities and are willing to toss the animal as soon as it inconviences them. And the next time your buddy says he wants "x" but works 8 hours a day, remind him that "x" will require care and attention every few hours. It is not fair to a dog to take him out once in the morning and once in the evening and expect him to be satisfied. Hell, if you want a pet but your busy with work/life, get a snake/reptile. They are still fun to play with and only require 2 hours of care a week (Although more interaction is always better). You want a shepard (Or any high energy animal)? Be prepared to run 5 miles with the dog a day in addition to playing/walking him or he's going to be bored and eat your stuff because you're not taking care of him properly. Guess what? Dogs and cats live for a long time (10-15 years). Think that over and realize that getting that animal means caring for it until it dies. Guess what? They're expensive too. Like $1000's of dollars a year in feeding and proper vet care. Guess what? Animals get big. Research it before you buy it. If your puppy gets big and isn't cute anymore, that's not a good reason to abandon your care obligations. Train the animal. Spay/neuter the animal. Don't be that jackass with your dog off leash laughing as it harasses other dogs. If you do have to get rid of the animal, at least try and adopt it out first. A .22LR to the head may be more humane than a few days in the shelter. At least you're being a man and taking the responsibility instead of thinking happy thoughts about Fido when you drop him off so someone else can do your dirty work. Not to mention the people that breed endlessly for a source of income are flooding the market with animals that will mostly not be cared for properly, or eventually abandoned when they inconvience/anger the owner. So next time your buddy says he wants to breed "x" to make a few bucks, slap him upside the head. They're animals, not products. Long story short, don't buy a fucking animal unless you understand completely what is required to care for it. Including how long it will live and what it will cost.

  4. I did my first track day this weekend.Let me start first with great praise to STT. Those folks were awesome. The classroom end of things was very informative.I had no idea what I was doing, or what I was getting into. All I knew was that I'd signed up to ride on a race track(which was more badass than I ever expected). They walked you through everything. They answered questions no matter how stupid it may have sounded. They were great. The riding coachs were incredible. I learned more from these guys in a day, than I have in 5 years on the street. When we went out for our first session, I put myself in the slowest novice group I could. I wanted to learn everything I could, and I also didn't want to get myself in over my head. This was a good move, and a bad move all in one. My group consisted of hellmutt on his zx1400, snot on her 300 ninja, an older gentlemen on an fz6, and myself on my fz1. Mr. FZ6 is where the issues began. We hit the track at a mere crawl. Showing us the race line, different body positioning, and the plan to step up the pace as we went. The first two laps, were mellow maybe 40 mph tops. The coach decided to pick up the pace a notch on the third lap, and mr. Fz6 blew corner 7. Took it out in the grass almost dumped it. Coach dropped the pace down slower than our first lap after this. We went back to the classroom, and we discussed fz6's happenings. Discussed target fixation, looking through the turn, holding your line, all the typical stuff. I thought we had mr. fz6 straight. Session 2- Stepped up pace a notch, fz6 blew 7 again. pace dropped down back slower than the first lap of the first session. Had the same discussions with him on what to do, to fix his issue. Session 3-He blew the corner AGAIN! I'm far from pro, and far from a good rider. My videos will show you that in a few minutes. Now here is where I had an issue. We had run the first three sessions at 25-40 mph pretty much. Afternoon is pretty much free game. No passing in the corners. No closer than 6 foot. Raise hell. be safe. Sensory overload set in. I got out on the track trying to run a decent pace, but was totally unable too, Alot of it was due to mentally holding myself back, but the rest of it was due to running such a slow pace all morning and not gradually stepping it up. I felt like I missed out on that end of things in the learning process. I learned a ton as I said, and had a blast. I was slow, couldn't maintain a good line, I just got very frustrated with fz6 guy, I had a few issues with the same corner as well. At the end of the day ( go pro died so I didn't get my last session) I was very happy with myself. I wasn't fast, I had terrible lines, I didn't do any knee dragging or any good passing( everyone passed me) But I learned a ton, had the best time I've ever had on a motorcycle in my entire life, and I can't wait to go back again, and improve upon what I learned. Heres the videos. Criticize away, give me some food for thought, things to try, or whatever else you wanna throw in! I can't wait to hit the track again.

  6. It was a simple question. Don't post on the internet seeking acceptance from random ass people then? I thought it was cool as hell, but christ i've never seen so many wadded panties or sandy vaginas in my life. Ok, now that i'm done looking in the mirror, back to the wagon.

  8. That is why each of our dogs are rescue dogs and I won't even consider going anywhere else. We got our first dog (shepherd/boxer mix) when he was only 3 months old because someone bred the dogs and didn't want the responsibility and just dumped the litter. Our second dog doesn't really have a story she just showed up one day. We assume whoever had her first saw that she was getting too big (shepherd/shar pei mix) and didn't want to deal with it. We also have a cat that we rescued because the owner simply didn't want her and was going to just toss her on the street. I just can't understand how people can abandon an animal, to me our pets are like our kids and how can you one day just decide you don't want them anymore? It irritates me even more when people make bullshit excuses for not being able to take care of an animal but Ben covered that pretty spot on. Here's my dogs. They're spoiled like crazy.

  11. That's a dumb reason. Think of how many other people want to do the exact same thing you did. And if its only to hear the bike and not an actual ride of course the battery is going to not charge. Now the sales guy should of had enough basic tools to access the battery and jump it for you. Their store is so big 30mins to kill can be done very easy. And if actually would of bought it you would of been there for at least an hour if not two. So doesn't sound like there was a time issue. Sounds like you were just being a hard ass and something happened that you couldn't control and you got pissed off.

  14. Hope all that survived heal quickly. RIP to the dead. However, if you fucked up and you're going to fast to control because you're not paying attention in front of you, don't go kill other people trying to avoid by going left of center....

  16. Because we have a "Free Press" in the USA which in no way supports or is in collusion with any social engineering philosophy or political agenda or party affiliation. Isn't it odd that all crimes that feature "teenagers" or "youths" or the like the perps are always black? Isn't it odd that we have a new race this year called "White Hispanics". Isn't it odd that if Hispanic or white that is mentioned in the first three paragraphs. Isn't it odd that in any Democratic scandal the public servants party affiliation is never mentioned unless they are a Republican. Isn't it odd that all dogs are "Pitt Bulls" all guns are"AK-47s" Two slingshots are an "Arsenal" All guns are "Machine Guns". " Even a .22 is an "Assault Rifle". Isn't it odd that all republicans are "Right Wing Extremists" and "Religious Fundamentalists". Isn't it odd that Muslims are a "Religion of Peace" which can be clearly seen from the last 1000+ years of their history as well as their present day actions. “Four hostile newspapers are more to be feared than a thousand bayonets..” ― Napoleon Bonaparte Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. - Winston Churchill Move along citizen, nothing to see here, move along. /rant

  17. False. It's relevant because it shows he deserved better. You can point out ANY FACT involved and claim it's irrelevance: Why point out that he was 88-years old? Does it matter what his age was if he's just as dead? Why point out he was a man? Does it imply that his being male had something to do with the case? Why even point out he was beaten to death? He's just as dead if he had a heart attack in the car as if he was beaten. MNN - Magz News Network reports this story as: Person deceased, 2 others connected. Justice system in motion, please await verdict. Why am I still playing this game with you? I just now realized I fell for the Magz trap: I know you're just trolling for shits and giggles and still responded. I feel like less of a man now.

  21. I just think people like to put their input in on everything really. It's just the day and age we live in with social media and forums. Oh well, moving along. Mounted side marker lights on it today, i'll await the negative comments about these lol http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/yy218/guy_from_nerk/1005794_10151816472266907_477485438_n_zps52356d29.jpg
