gun can not be in a school zone if no ccw. If he has a ccw he is not permitted to get out of his vehicle, with firearm. He also can not get out of his car and leave his gun in car while car is in a school zone. Surprised there are no charges.

I think the notion that anyone has the right to decide someone else "deserves" to die is audacious. Go ask a convicted murderer what they thought of their victim. Several murder victims "deserved" to die by their standards. Just because we have a judicial process in place doesn't make us any better. Different, yes. Better? I'm not convinced. But I agree with your sentiment. Not only are we (albeit infrequently) killing innocent people, we're applying their own logic to our punishment for their crimes. Society's restraint should be what separates us from those willing to kill. The only time killing another individual is justified is when it is immediately necessary to prevent further loss of life. Many here are adding "vengeance" as a valid reason to kill someone. In the heat of the moment, I might be inclined to agree, but I don't think we should be reaching the same conclusion after reasoned consideration.

I would imagine, that the number of truly guilty put to death in comparison to innocent, should not even be close. Give me life in prison or death, and I will choose death. I like the island idea, sure are plenty out there to turn into some giant prison. Prisons are too full of both life without parole and petty criminals, both is a big problem in my opinion. Why not give the option of death, wonder how many would take it? Mixing hard criminals with petty criminals is a huge problem, better segregation needs to be in place.

The backup cameras on my wifes car are worthless 90% of the time in the winter any ways. Any time there is wet roads, road spray covers the lens and makes the picture worthless. I only use it to better judge distance when backing into a spot with a object directly behind. Otherwise the mirrors provide better information. Sure its only a few dollars, but its money I would rather not spend. Requirements like these have greatly increased the cost of entry level cars over the last 40 years and that is where it really hits the pocket book. Especially because it also adds more items that can go wrong, and may need repaired. Craig

My new "neighbor" in the cube next to me just sprayed some noxious crap in the air that cleared out the people for more than 50 ft in all directions....my eyes haven't burned like that since I was in the gas chamber(Army). I am not usually a prick at work, but apparently telling her "Do not ever spray that again" in a professional manner has been considered "being negative". :wtf: I am so glad I don't have a cattle prod here, because I would use it on the idiots till the batteries died!!! Yea, I see your point and I don't know. I was at an Apple store the other night and a guy was open carrying a 1911 in a nice Galco holster. Nobody was visibly freaked out, but someone called Easton security (probably policy) and they calmly talked with the guy and convinced him to leave it in the car. He returned with his empty holster still on, which made it obvious to me he intended to make a statement from the beginning. I mean, why announce loudly to everyone that you're unarmed unless self-defense was never the primary goal? Anyway...

Me neither, shit happens, that's life. People get killed by accident all the time, car wrecks, plane crashes, drowning. Until all of that goes away, I will never be against capital punishment, even if that means an innocent person dies. Because, the justice system at some point in time, DID find them guilty, and the justice system is never wrong, right? Oh, and all the murders have to stop, once those stop and the above is done, then yeah, I'll be cool with stopping capital punishment. In the same light, I wish it was public, broadcast all over TV(late night TV that is), and once convicted they go from courtroom to death in about 1 hour. As far as I am concerned once they are convicted they have NO rights, none. That means shower time with bubba, no seperating child molesters from murderers, none of that. You do the crime, you don't do the time, you just get killed. As far as I am concerned, murder's, rapist, child molesters, probably others, courtroom conviction to death, same day, within the hour. Tape delay the replays until late night TV, and I bet crime does drop, really do. Like Crazyskullcrusher said, have someone in your family killed, raped, etc. and I bet your feelings are a tad different towards all of this.
