  1. Hello Everyone. My name is Adam "Rainman" Cook. They call me Rainman because all of my motorcycle events usually bring rain. It has nothing to do with the movie. I am an event coordinator, and I run 2 non-profit organizations. The Heartbeat of a Teddy Bear and Operation: S.T.A.T. Heartbeat of a Teddy Bear was started in 2012 after the tragic shooting at Chardon High School. I organized a Teddy Bear run that was just a local run to let the families know that "We were with you when your sons were buried, and we will always be with you. Today, Tomorrow, Forever. At the request of one of the parents, we then scheduled another Teddy Bear run to Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland. In 2012, we donated over 700 teddy bears (In October) and in 2013, we did it again (In July) and delivered over 1500 teddy bears, $3500 in supplies, and a $1500 donation. In 2014, we want to atleast double that. Operation: S.T.A.T. (Standing Tall for American Troops) was started after I organized a group of people to the VA Hospital in Cleveland to thank the Veterans for their service and sacrifice. The day of this run was the 10 year anniversary of 9.11. In visiting with the Veterans, I heard that we were the only people some had seen in months outside of doctors and nurses. They said their families live too far away and their friends dont ever see them when they are in the hospital. This bothered me. Men and Woman have served our country, sacrificed time with their families, and for some, will never return to the life they once knew. I promised I would return, and on Christmas Eve that year, we delivered 60 stockings to that floor. In 2012, we delivered 725 to the entire Louis B. Stokes VA Medical Center, and in 2013, we delivered over 2000 stockings to 5 VA medical centers in 3 states. In 2014, we hope to hit 10 hospitals in just as many states. Follow me as I will post many of our events on here. I look foward to meeting many of you in the future. Please ride safe, and watch out for cages. Adam Rainman Cook

  2. IT + PMP = gold. ---- In IT, software, engineering, aerospace, the PMP is good to have. (I got mine.) --- Project management in healthcare IT is hot. So is the mobile app segment. PMI.org Damn, somebody on this board knows what a PMP is. Bad, -- Check around in project management and health care and see what pops up. - Also, as mentioned before, nowadays, a full Linkedin profile is a must. - Join local job hunt groups in Linkedin in your town. Also there should be network groups in your town too. Also join. - Get out the resume, and work on it. Google - Top ten resume writers and steal their examples, model yours after one of the first few that you like. Make sure that you like it. Be wary of resume writers. Most are doing that because they cant get a real job and are terrible. Also most will tell you that your resume is bad so they can get your business. Beware. - Post on Monster, Careerbuilder. - Scan - Indeed.com - Simply Hired.com - Network your ass off. - There are job groups everywhere. Join one. - That's just a start. Just throwing out there, from someone who has just been there, done that, recently. GL

And I plan on drilling and tapping the float tube for a sling stud to attach a harris bipod....but it's finally a whole rifle.

  6. I live within spitting distance of Iron Pony and so I spend a lot of money there. But after checking a few times, they didn't have a used starter bike for my buddy within his price, feature range and timing, so we opened the search to Craigslist. One of the listings was for a very nice blue 2003 Shadow 600 VLX for a very reasonable price, so we trekked 30 or so minutes from Columbus to Hebron to have a look. Nice peeps, small-shop environment, clean and stocked with a lot of sport bikes, a few cruisers, some dirt and d/s bikes. They pulled the bike out for startup and in-the-sunlight exam, and it turned out to be the bike he wanted. Smooth transaction, and I rode the bike home for my friend. It'll be perfect for him, and we're planning to change the oil, filter, check valve clearances, etc. today just for good measure. Anyway, it was our first interaction with K&C and I wanted to share the positive experience. Check them out sometime if you're in the area: http://www.kccycleandatv.com/ Scott

  7. I think it possible with Sena but other optional accessories would be required. Sounds like too many distractions for me. I like my 2 way, mp3, and ability to take a call if needed. I'll use gps though my phone too if needed but in getting ready to mount a larger screen Garmin where I won't need the sound

  8. I picked Wichita State to win it all, and then picked places I've lived/ & names I recognized to fill in the rest of the bracket. It's actually a foolproof system. I may as well just start spending my winnings now.

  14. LOL yup! I have a 35' box truck you can use brother, only thing is it does have a lift gate but I also have the ramp if you would rather just wheel stuff up and down. Let me know, its yours to borrow no charge just fill it with the same amount of fuel that it had when you picked up.

  15. Storage places have trucks they let you use for free when you rent a unit. The last two times I moved I just rented a small unit for one month to get the truck free lol. Way cheaper than uhaul. Rent a $29.99 storage unit and get free use of truck
