Valkyrie Defense Group is hosting a Suarez International HITS-8 Defensive Knife Course. It will be held in Coshocton on November 14th. Valkyrie Defense Group makes nothing off this class we are just trying to provide better and more accessible information to everyone. Why would you ever need a class on defensive knife? Do you ever go anywhere that your gun isn't allowed but your knife is welcome? I do. Also if we look at the statics of a lethal threat engagement it is very likely that it will be very close quarters to the point where your gun might not be accessible or feasible to get to. One of my biggest takeaways from this class was a closer look at violence. I thought I knew violence, I teach it every weekend. I was wrong. This opens your eyes to a whole new world of violence and something I describe as targeting. Different tools required different deployment and different target areas. You will learn a ton. There will be training knives there so you don't need to run out and buy one. Also if you don't have what you think is a perfect knife for defensive matters this class will also teach you what to look for in a defensive knife as well. Well,in a case of better late than never ODOT is just about done paving 78 from Bishopville to Malta.Paving is completed from Bishopville to Hickory Ridge,which is about 2 miles from 377.They're still working on edging that section and they still need to paint the edge lines.Other than that touch up work you have brand new pavement on the best section of one of the best roads in Ohio. Sunday's weather is supposed to be decent and Monday and Tuesday are supposed to be even better! ODOT has served up a really fun reward for all you late season riders out there. BTW,the Muskingum county section of 555 also has new pavement,so you have very good pavement from Zanesville to 78 at Ringgold.The part from Portersville to Ringgold is a little older,but very good for the most part.

I eye balled more than a few of the k1200 and 1300s for that matter be for I got the Sprint. Super nice bikes I'll be very envious of you. Hellmutt's bike is super clean folks some one snatch it up. Glws lbts.

Do yourself a favor and check out the Super Tenere as well. Might save you a pretty good wad of cash for a very similar bike. I'll even let you take mine for a spin if you'd like.

It's definitely not middle ground! It is still, however, a bike and if it was that or nothing, i'd ride it. You don't have to be "elitist " to admit it is not a good bike. Reliable? Yes. Crappy? Yes!
