While I was out riding yesterday my wife was out shopping for a dog at the Lorain county animal shelter. Picked up a 2 year old male beagle/German shepherd mix today. He seems to be a really nice, smart dog that hasn't been mistreated. Since he doesn't respond to his shelter name, Antony, we're naming him Tito Rabat. 1st non-golden retriever for us in 26 years.

Oh one thing I wanna add . . . PLEASE NO WHEELIES!!! Keep that to a ZERO!!! (if your reading this) You 2 guys in May, kept doing it and it was annoying, putting other riders in danger (if you wipe you wanna get RAN over?), creating separation between the group, etc. Just dont do it during these big Group rides. Do that shit when your riding by YOURSELF!

Its not going to change from within. If we dont intervene with massive resources it will only get worse. Let me give you am example. There is a girl at the school I work at. Her dad is doing 20 in the big house. Her mom just died from a heroin overdose. She is now being raised by her grandmother, who has a host of her own issues. Without outside intervention that girl has zero chance. And they dont idolize the thug life. Its the only life they know. Its the only life their parents know and its the only life their grandparents know. You tell them to work hard, they have no concept of what that means. Blame them, blame whoever you want. That wont change a thing. Only massive intervention will change it.

Hopefully it's my off weekend, will know for sure by end of this month. I have a clean t shirt design ready lemme do the finish touches.

Maybe we should ban him? We could do it for charity. Like, if we can raise $1000 for John's Pumpkin Pedler autism ride I will ban Tonik for a week. Thoughts?

This is going to be epic. An OR Pokeman Go Team. We can plan rides to get our Pokeman, then road trips all over the country to take over out of state gyms! Leathers with Pokeman patches, rockers to lay claim to our territory!! Just let me know if you are in. PS If you are in I'm banning you.

Maybe I just don't understand...anyone has a right to peaceful protest. When did it become ok to close roads, intersections, interstates, etc? Down here in Nashville they've been marching down main roads and holding up traffic, one hour sit downs at intersections. Memphis they shut down I 40... I don't get it...maybe I'm not supposed to...

Ok I just discovered what some of my tire problems may have been this year and late last year. And I take everything back I said about my $4 HF gage. Went out to the garage to load the bicycles up for a ride in the morning and decided to check the tires with my new gadget. Filled them up to 50 lbs and love the way the new gage works other than I think I need to thread lock the threads on the chuck pieces. Curious on how accuate the new gage id I get out my old tusty HF gage out of my bike box. The HF gage reads 45 lbs. At first I was thinking the new one was shit so I got out a selection of pencile gages and a digital slime gage. They all were reading real close to the new one the digital slime one being balls on what the new one said. Now like I stated above I have tested my HF gage against a high end gage my uncle uses on his drag car so I ran down the road to his house and tested them all. The new one was balls on with his, the digital slime gage was with in half a lb and my former trusty HF gage was reading 10% low at all pressure ranges. What I guessing is when it was newish the HF one was accurate but over the years the springs or seals or what ever on the inside has worn and it's lost its accuracy. So in the trash it went. Now many if you know over the last year or so I've been bitch ing about tire wear on my bike. Any any kind d of under inflation on that big heavy turd will accelerate tire wear. And at 42psi on ny HF gage I was accually running around 37 or 38 which explains ALOT. Lesson learned you get what you pay for and never assume one tool is reading correctly all the time.

Ok, I'll bite... A month or so ago, when I got pissed off at the cheapo gauge I had been using and took a sledgehammer to it, I decided to get something stupid outrageous for replacement and got this Longacre gauge with a 3 1/2 inch dial. It holds pressure until you release it, and 2 bleed valve buttons on the head, and the chuck swivels to fit wherever you need it. Its a bit OCD, but I get a certain giddy satisfaction of using something that works stupid outrageously well.
