That's what he says. After the surgery, you'll have therapy. Take it seriously; good therapy done religiously can do wonders. My situation wasn't good, but I walk again, kickstart one of my bikes and do almost anything around the house including getting on the roof to clan gutters. Doctors seem to give you the worst scenario. It's your job to prove they're wrong.3 points

Call your surgeon's office and ask them. They are smarter about this stuff than we are. We are pretty much dumbasses.2 points

I'm open to having folks over. Not a lot of extra sleeping space, but hotels nearby and Uber is cheap.1 point

Rent us a bus to take us back and forth to the hotels. And we want Wu Tang for the band.1 point

Having done it before, I could probably have the thing together in 2-3 hours... Took me closer to 6 the first time, because I was being careful and trying to actually read the (chinese translated) instructions. Biggest thing I wish I'd done differently is to not tighten anything up until it was more fully assembled. Easier to keep it square. The plywood helps that immensely. I used 3/4 treated decking, and mine has held up impressively.1 point

I recently picked one up from a local guy selling on a FB post. Its brand new still in the box and never assembled. Got it for $150, still trying to find time to put it together.1 point

We did a fairly relaxed pace last year with some more exuberant spurts here and there (though for much of the time it was only three of us). It's not a race and everyone should have the routes so if some want to blast through, they can do so and if some want to take it slower and stop for some snapshots, they can do that as well. We'll all end up in the same spot eventually and it's a big enough group that there will probably always be others with a like-minded pace. Like all the organized rides, no one should be riding at a pace they are uncomfortable with...let's all get there and back without a mishap.1 point

Yep, there sure is but I've never been there. It's about 15 mins from my house. To follow up on my recommendation for Cadre Cycle...I had heard a great many things about them but had never gone there until recently. I just had my throttle bodies synched there - cost me $23. I was shocked...I would've thought it be at least $50. I bet if I brought to a regular dealer they would've hit me with a $75 minimum. When I expressed how surprised I was at the cost the guy told me, "We're an honest shop. If it only takes us 15 minutes to do something, that's all we charge". I'll totally be going back there from now on...the best part is it's located 1.6 miles from my house so I walked home after dropping it off and walked up there to pick it up.1 point

Brian, I am going to post this on the ninjette forum for you to see if anyone has them there. Let me know if you get any of the parts so we can check with each other.1 point

I will be running my usual pace except when Tim passes me, then I will go @Mach Retard for a couple of miles just so he knows he ain't shit. Then back to normal.1 point

The problem is my imagination runs wild...especially if it's a river. No telling what you are going to come across [[shiver]] I finished the video (there's no audio - didn't feel like having copyright issues with Youtube)1 point
