  4. If I can make a suggestion for yous guys. I live downtown near German Village and know the city pretty well. If you want to try to avoid the traffic, parking issues and high hotel prices right there at the convention center consider this option instead. Try the Comfort Inn & Suites at 650 South High Street, Columbus, OH, 43215. They are in a perfect location for a few reasons: The Cbus Circulator stop is right across the street. This is the FREE shuttle that runs all the way up to the Short North and back. It's clean and safe for all you non-city folks who fear the city. Or you can Uber, cab, or walk. The area is clean and safe. You can bar hop straight up and back High St to the Convention Center and beyond. Panera is right across the street or lots of little restraunts and diners everywhere They have free parking at the hotel for people staying there I'm pretty sure they've been recently remodeled as well. A friend stayed here twice and seemed to like it. He is in the moto-industry as well. I checked their hotel website and they are not booking for that weekend yet. You may be able to get a group rate if you want to call now. Get ahead of the rest of the industry. For those not familiar with Columbus, we have gone through sooooo much change and building like crazy. It's clean, safe and plenty for everyone. It's so perfect for conventions like this now. I wouldn't have said that even a year ago, but downtown is a hot bed of activity all weekend long now. It's night and day from where it was even just a few years ago. If you need tips or suggestions feel free to reach out to me. I love playing tour guide.

  6. I just got my daughters into dirt biking this summer and last ride we just got the training wheels off their 50cc. We've currently been using my GF's aunt's 1.5 acres, and riding on my brother's. But I'm looking for Bikes for My GF and myself and for more location options. Looking for areas(preferably free) that have open fields and beginner trails. We're from the Cleveland area and don't mind driving and we wouldn't mind paying, if we had to, But my girls totally loved it and I'd like to have options for next season. Thanks Guys

  7. I almost never spray the bike down unless caught in the rain and the bike is trashed. I will use a small amount of dish soap in a bucket of warm water with a microfiber rag to wipe the bike down. This is my preferred method and I do this in my garage without making a mess. The dish soap loosens grease, bugs and road grime. Dry with a microfiber towel and detail with Honda Polish. Done!

  10. I had my lower leg crushed by a truck in a motorcycle crash 3 years. Spent 6 months off work, had to learn to walk again, still have pain all the time. I still feel like keeping my leg was the best option. You will heal the body is a amazing thing, Just takes time. I was back on the bike before I could walk. Had to pay for gas at the pump and get on the bike from the wrong side since I couldn't put weight on my left leg.

  17. Anywhere east is good. Work your way down toward the river and New Richmond, through to Georgetown/Portsmouth area, across to Pedro and then up toward Jackson. Some good roads and riding out there. Best ride would be to Rio Grande and eat at Bob Evans original restaurant.

  18. Brandon many of us have been riding the street 20+ years and everyone of us would be lying if we said something like this never happened to us. This is part of riding and learning to be a better rider. Learn from the mistake, but absolutely do not let this make you ride scared! Riding scared is the fastest way to a crash. Dwelling and over analyzing will only make things worse. This is the part where you add to the respect column.
