  6. I think this will be tough on his closer friends, so I thought I would write this up so they didn't have to go through the heart ache. It is with great sadness that I have to tell you guys that Ryan Hill (@rhill on here), and more affectionately known as RACEDAY to us who knew him on the track, has passed away. He had been having some issues with breathing in the past week or so, and last night was still well enough to drive himself to the hospital. They had found blood clots in his lung(s) and early this morning, he went into cardiac arrest and did not make it. I wasn't as close to him as some of the others, so I'll keep this short so they can pour their hearts out when they're ready. But I wanted you all to know that Ryan's friends and family, the track days/racing community, and moto community in general lost a great person and asset and friend today. godspeed to you Ryan. You lived well, you gave of yourself, and you were loved and will always be loved. Godspeed. Latest update from Ryan's family: Funeral for Ryan Friends will be recieved Monday and Tuesday. Monday evening 4pm to 8pm Additional viewing Tues 9am to 11am with service to immediately follow in the Leftdahl Chapel. Leftdahl Funeral Home 898 Old Route 119 North Indiana, PA 15701 Please share this information with anyone who does not have access to Facebook. EDIT: link to his obituary. Look at this handsome bastard https://www.indianagazette.com/news/obituaries/ryan-hill,25206256/

  7. And if you are caching them you probably need a model release for each proving they are over 18. While I hate you, I would prefer you not go to jail. They don't allow online access when you are in jail and I wouldn't be able to terrorize you. It's not like porn is hard to find on the interwebs.

  8. It's gone for now, maybe forever. I have a technical/legal issue to deal with. I cache locally any images posted. This is how I get around the non secure content issues with SSL (hotlinked images often aren't hosted at SSL domains). Unfortunately, this means images are cached and hosted on my server. For NSFW stuff, this is a concern for a few reasons. Namely, I'm not interested in hosting adult content for so, so many reasons. The NSFW forum wasn't visited by many to begin with, and there are better sources anyways. For the time being, it's gone. Whether I bring it back or not is yet to be decided. Sorry for anyone upset/bothered by this. I hope this at least explains why.

  12. The real reason we live here. Honestly though, i don't see myself living anywhere else. Ohio has a little bit of everything.

  13. I think that's overstating it a LITTLE. Ohio has a lot going for it. - we get all 4 seasons, which I think makes us appreciate nice weather a bit more - low cost of living. Even in Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and other "down town" areas - with that said, there is also a good mix of suburban and 'country' living options if you want acreage, or more Trump/Pence signs in your life. I believe this is why Ohio accurately predicts presidential elections. We're like a miniature Untied States. - lots of professional and college sports teams - Mid-Ohio, Nelson Ledges, PIRC, Indanapolis Motor Speedway are all within realistic driving distance. - did I mention cost of living? Friends of ours in Virginia (DC area) are about to pay more than double what we paid for a smaller house and a nothing yard. My house is 20 years older, so theirs is more up-to-date inside, but even if I factor in $50k worth of remodeling on my house, we're still making out by $150,000 or more. Yes, they make more money than my wife and I do in Ohio, but they don't make DOUBLE what we do. The property costs increase disproportionately to income. - we're relatively insulated from natural disasters. Yes, we get a crazy blizzard every 15 years or so, but tell me the last time Ohio was decimated by a hurricane or an earthquake. Tornadoes are certainly possible, but not like they are in the plains states. - Few poisonous spiders, etc.

  17. Ok I have composed myself long enough to try and get everything out. Ryan and I would always push each other on the track. We would usually pull off passes that most would consider dick moves but hey what are friends for. Messing with suspension and just general screwing around in the pits. I'm glad we were able to just sit and chat at mido last month, getting caught up on what all I missed in the last year. We were making big plans for next season as I was going to start riding again and we were going to hit quite a few days together. Today has been an emotional train wreck for myself and I'm sure many others and while I will never understand why this happened you will be deeply missed. "Raceday" Ryan Hill will be with all of us in spirit.

  18. Ryan was my work cubicle neighbor, and good friend. I was going to post something here to spread the word, but I see that it is already known. All of you who knew him were like family to him, he talked about you all the time. He definitely was a great guy, and will be missed. Race In Peace, brother.

  19. So, the choices are Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump this year. One of these two will be our next president. I definitely won't be voting for Trump as he is a loose cannon, has no experience, makes hateful shit up as he goes along, & has sociopathic tendencies. The only reason he is in the race is because of his huge ego. I'll vote for Clinton. She's made some mistakes that I'm sure she has learned from but there is no comparison between her & Trump's motives. She has people that I respect endorsing her. (Any democrats endorsing Trump?). She doesn't have top level national security people writing open group letters saying that she would be the most dangerous president in history. Those of you that are arguing ideologies of far right vs. far left are missing the point here. If you don't like either of them then don't vote. If you're voting for Trump, put on your brown shirt & go to the polls early & stay late to make sure I don't cheat.
