I'd rather be happily oblivious than worry about shit that might happen to me. As far as the treatment of the Vets. I'm all for whatever the Vet wants. Some of that stuff is not a simple fix. They made great sacrifices to be in that position, and I am forever grateful for them.

This is Bandit. He rests eternally on the back of my property. Not completely sure just what breeds were involved. But a hell of a dog. I originally started typing what a sort of batshit crazy but good dog he was, but take my word for it he was grand. I'm not as fond of our other dogs as I was him. The day came he could barely get around and couldn't keep from wetting where he layed. I put him down and he rests eternally in my back yard. Damnit...

I think Polaris' cruiser sales are growing, but Indian is cannibalizing Victory sales. It's kind of odd to have 2 lines competing with each other in the same basic market.

CBR250 single is an awesome choice. Honestly, I think it would be a really fun bike to own. You can go WOT every time the light turns green, and you'll never make it past 100mph on the highway to put yourself in real danger of losing your license. I think i'd put a taller windscreen on it and a steel front brake line, then just burn through tires. A naked version with riser bars would be more discreet than the full-fairings, but I feel like wind-screens look less attractive in that context, and they're greatly appreciated at highway speeds...

A friend of mine started on a vstar 650 as her first bike. Affordable and very low seat height for short legged people.

My wife had one of these for her 1st bike. She liked it a lot & rode it for a couple years. One advantage of this bike over the twins is that it is light weight. Don't knock 31 HP until you try it. Plenty of grunt for a beginner, being a single cylinder. Kept up with traffic just fine.

It was chilly but it's mostly street legal again so I had to take it out to the farmhouse to make sure it's back together right.
