  15. Well, i've been sick 3 of the last 4 weeks, and haven't been at the gym AT ALL. I did get 14 miles of singletrack in at Mohican during that week I was feeling better. Saturday should be interesting. My original goal was to start a 4th lap before the 3-hour end time. My new goal is to survive! I know I can ride 25ish miles of singletrack and/or 3+ hours if I pace myself. While I had previously planned to aim for 8 mph average and do 1 lap per hour, my new plan is to go as slow as I can tolerate in the first lap, and hopefully get a little faster on teh second lap, then go for broke on the third lap. Not sure what I'll do if I have time to start a 4th, as my conditioning is NOT where I had hoped it would be. This will be a good workout, and a fun time if I don't get down on myself for not being fast. The weather is supposed to be perfect, and the worst I can be is last...

  16. Editing a longer simple upload, won't have seat belt on it next ride am changing the super wide angle view for sure. I always think about doing it and forget it when the time comes. Can get better view with that. Yes, we need to get to these roads for a short evening ride at aleast if long full day doesn't work.

  20. As it turns out the gun my dad has is an m&p 9c not a shield. Went to fin to look at the shield and the difference between a double stack 9c and single stack shield was huge. The gun felt comfortable so I bought it. After the rebate I'm looking at $383 for the gun, speed loader, 3 boxes of range ammo and a box of Hornady critical defense I do still have some extra cash so may just end up back at fin for the bodyguard

  21. Yep, it was a bit windy and cold but well worth the time spent going for a ride today. I gave the Breakout a good wipe down after I got it back to the garage.

  24. Only 3 things matter for a CCW pistol: 1 Can it be reasonably concealed 2 Can you hit a target at self defense distances (if not, you're the problem, not the weapon) 3 Does it go bang every time If you have reason to draw a weapon in self defense, you aren't going to give a damn about ergonomics, if the trigger is butter smooth, or if it can hit a shotgun shell at 50 feet. You're also going to be dealing with adrenaline. This isn't a marksmanship situation. You aren't slowly squeezing off a round while maintaining breath control. You are quickly pulling the trigger. If you are in a struggle you aren't going to be using the sites & you might need to fire left handed. Practice that next time you are at the range.

  25. You make it sound difficult. Most of those miles were 25 at a time on my commute. With the exception of the Fall Gap Trip and a couple day trips there were not many times where the "comfort" of the bike was a factor. And really the only time the supermoto is uncomfortable for me is long miles on the highway. When its twisty or gravel the SM is just fun
