I've always been a fan of the big 2 strokes. I've been looking for one of these for a few years and ran across this one almost 2 months ago. Its taken awhile to get it here from Medford Oregon but it finally showed up last Monday. Engine/suspension all stock(save for the chambers). AirTech fairings, R6 front brakes. I've only had time to take it for 1 (quite illegal) ride and everything works as it should on a 31 year old 2 smoke. There's nothing quite like the power delivery of a 4 cylinder 2-stroke as it comes on the pipe .
So, I dealt with the mechanical issues. Had a dealer replace the steering head bearings, and I cleaned/rebuilt the front brakes. Now it runs and rides like new. I also put a "quiet" baffle in the V&H exhaust as it was a little loud for my tastes.
It's definitely the most fun HD I've ever ridden. It seems strange carry that much lean angle on a cruiser without scraping hard parts.
