Did a few fuel cells as well but these were made to Iron Butt Association requirements and were specific to each bike - as they were only allowed to carry around 11.5 gallons at the time. Had internal baffles welded in, tip over valves, electrical grounding block, etc. Powdercaoted this one to match a bike - ugly as shit. Usually powdered them black. I used Summit Racing car fuel cells and cut them open to add baffles and reduce them in size. It was cheaper to buy from them than to buy aluminum sheet stock and completely make my own. Plus, I got the fittings with them , etc.

I make aluminum fuel cells for jetskis on the side. It can be a lot of work but I enjoy welding and it makes decent money.

Go electronic. While its always easy to spend someone else's money I will never own a bike without it, other than a track bike. Even if you are just doing a couple of hours on the freeway coming back from a trip...it's worth it. I use mine often on long stretches of 2 lane that are not that twisty and I am just rolling along.

That's the same way I felt when I tried on a shoei and bell. Shoei had massive pressure on my forehead and this was their top of the line model. Bell was even worse for me as my teeth were touching the chin guard and my head hurt from it. My hjc rpha10pro fit ok but my nose touched The chin guard. The arai was about the only one that fit really well. Signet x is a long oval and fit good, I ended up with the corsair x and it's probably the nicest helmet I have ever owned. I'm in that medium- long oval range.

Wow, this took off. @ricer1, did you really get an fz-10? Guess I missed that thread? Hell, if you northerners get together for karting, I'd love to come up and make excuses about why I lost.
