Swapping in the Clearwater lights, new LED tail/brakelight and the CANopener. That device allows me to integrate the lights into my bike's system and control the fogs via the Wunderwheel. I can control their lumen output, make them flash with my horn or hazards and I believe have them serve me a dry martini. Still reading the manual...
Monday I decided to order a set of Roadsmart 3s to have an extra set tires around since both bikes have the same size tires. Then I discovered this on the front tire of the Concours.
So the bike looks like this now.
Guess I’ll have to order another set to have extras. I’m shocked how easily I was able to spoon off that rear tire. I’m guessing 80 degree weather makes tire removal easier than the 50-60 degree weather I often try to do it in.
Giving the BMW some love. Driveshaft had a very slight bit of surface rust on two u-joint caps, but the splines looked good and well greased. I wiped down the driveshaft and fogged the housing with WD-40. Hopefully that will help with condensation. I flush and filled the final drive and inspected the drain magnet. Everything looks in order out back. I will have street rubber mounted next week.
Time to shake off that crash and get back on my high horse.
