  1. I'm sure some of you probably remember me but any who.. I'm Steve, 22 from Columbus. I was previously banned for being a douche bag (a lot of things change over the course of three years however) So consider this my introduction/formal apology (my bad) I think I had my camaro previous to being banned. Well, the oil pump decided to let go and caused some other issues and I got fed up with trying to put a motor in it through the top so I ended up selling it as a rolling shell, now I'm driving an 06' dodge magnum SE until I can find an R/T. Here are some pics. Camaro, head torn off. http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l570/itsintrigue/2010-10-30145804.jpg When it still sort of ran http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l570/itsintrigue/2010-10-30145842-1.jpg The new ride http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l570/itsintrigue/2010-10-26180721.jpg http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l570/itsintrigue/2011-02-17080827.jpg http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l570/itsintrigue/2010-10-08135423-1.jpg http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l570/itsintrigue/2011-01-30180342.jpg http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l570/itsintrigue/2011-01-30180331.jpg and the "hey sorry for being a douche bag" face http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l570/itsintrigue/1286984271892.jpg

  4. The problem isn't really the pay that the unions have created. When times are good and the private sector is getting raises bigger than COLA and bonuses public employee's look like idiots. When times are bad like they are now they look like geniuses. You need to put it in perspective over time. Not just the last three or four years. The problem isn't that we need 'merit' raises for those that do good. Merit pay for teachers in states out west that do it have not accomplished a darn thing. We need a simple system where people that do good get to keep their job. And those that don't get to be fired. And that is the problem that unions have created. Blanket union protection for workers that do not do well is the issue that needs to be fixed, and probably the only issue that needs to be fixed. This bill is overkill. The motorcycle swung too far left under control of the unions. Now this bill is going to swing it too far right. Sooner or later we are going to swing so far one way or the other that we are going to end up in the ditch. Does it really matter which side of the road we crash on? We are still screwed. No offense folks, but pretty much everyone in this thread needs to moderate, and be a little less black and white about the issue. You all sound like Dems and Repubs in the House. It's one way or the other...no compromise or middle ground. The answer that works is in the middle. Not in the extreme of the way it is now...or in the extreme that this bill will create. But that will never happen. Politicians make a career off the extremes. They keep their base wound up with the fear of what the other side is going to do...so you support them and vote for them.

  6. Columbus makes pretty good $$$ compared to most then. I grew up in WV with mom being an elementary ed teacher in WV and dad in adult vocational across the river in OH. Dad did ok, 60k as a director for a rural school, but if I remember correctly mom was around 40k when she retired. I would love to have summers and weekends off like teachers, that to me would make the job appealing.

  9. Facebook post is saying 185rwp, 95ft/lbs torque, and 363 lbs (165kg.) That is something that makes my former Buell owning, and Aprilia riding twin loving heart skip a beat. For ten minutes straight. Daughter's college fund.... Hmmmm....

  14. Brendon, are you sure your ready for this. Your like the little lamb with a circling pack of lions . And Jeff keeps sending me PM's about man sex and I keep telling him to leave me alone. His personal feeling about himself always come out when he is trying to talk to people. Maybe he is just having trouble dealing with the rejection.
