  1. Hey guys my name is Cody. Im 17 and am a junior in high school. I currently live up near polaris and work at roush honda where my job title is a porter. I do and love everything that is honda. But Im not big into the muscle vs rice BS. I respect anyone that loves cars and works on their cars. I love all fast cars no matter what! And I respect peoples opinions! Now onto cars which is the important part. I daily drive a ford contour that got tboned by some bitch in the school parking lot, but i collected $1500 from her insurance company, and didnt fix the damage. So I invetested it into my project car/s. I own 2 Honda prelude VTEC's. The first one I bought when I was 15 for $525. It had a running H22 in it which was cool, but sat for a long while and was rusting very very bad... After a year of screwing with that, I decided it was financially smarter to buy a new shell that had no rust. Here are pics of the rust. http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/27805_385836941098_741701098_4094251_2102985_n.jpg http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/27805_385836946098_741701098_4094252_5226651_n.jpg And here are some pics before we took out the motor and all the other fun parts... And started tearing it apart for parts and what not.. http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/35811_409693026098_741701098_4684066_6817275_n.jpg http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/35811_409693046098_741701098_4684069_5768134_n.jpg So after the rust deal i decided to ring a prelude friend in florida. And asked if he had a shell. He said why yes I do my brother just blew his motor a couple of days ago, so I said right on! And i bought that for $1900 which included shipping. It was a 1995 honda prelude vtec that came with JDM one piece black housing headlights, a real seibon oem style CF hood, mint leather interior, and a front and rear camber kit... This is the first day I got it... Washed the salt off from its long journey through a georgia snow storm! http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/162899_490756721098_741701098_6224768_2763242_n.jpg And here is me pulling the H22 out of the old car. http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/167347_494406561098_741701098_6274958_6784957_n.jpg After I pulled the motor I instantly swapped over my Tein Coilovers to the new car and began shaving the bay! http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/179463_498456166098_741701098_6326597_3257031_n.jpg Not much happened with the car besides me shaving the bay in the garage... But this past friday I just got back from the body shop where I just got done shaving the bay, putting it in primer, then I did all the body work on the driver side (fixed dents and fixed a piece of rust), and primered the driver side of the car. More pics... BTW the body shop I was at was in wilmington, which offered me a job for the summer and for when I graduated High school. So thats my future career trade! Pics of that http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/216311_10150149084041099_741701098_6783766_6017409_n.jpg Dents haha http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/217110_10150149875526099_741701098_6788250_342751_n.jpg http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/216549_10150149875911099_741701098_6788256_5850579_n.jpg http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/207727_10150150826581099_741701098_6793644_3934484_n.jpg http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/216057_10150150826816099_741701098_6793649_3579145_n.jpg http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/208246_10150151779721099_741701098_6799592_2301972_n.jpg Pheww hope you guys like! And I cant get any more time off of school to go down there and finish up the sanding, scuffing, and fixing dents. So Im prolly gonna wait till about june to have this thing in color... And this is the color Im hoping for it to be... http://images.autocatch.com/boo586_152871_7-640x480.jpg I wont give a name cause people like to steal colors!!! haha

  7. omg....youre so fucking stupid and youre too oblivious to realize it....this shit is awesome...i love this thread 2 or 288 idgaf anymore, scottie is wrong no matter what the answer is m and d have the same weight....i think you need to hop on the special bus and take a refresher course at your local middle school bubby http://www.purplemath.com/modules/orderops.htm http://www.mathsisfun.com/operation-order-pemdas.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_operations http://www.studygs.net/pemdas/ those all say youre wrong. and those were just the top 4 hits in google your example: 6/3*4 ... 6/3 = 2 *4 = 8....according to you, the answer is .5 because 6/(3*4) is .5....but without those parenthesis, its 8 type that into ANY calculator and you will get 8 furthermore - PEMDAS is just an acronym...you know another acronym for order of operations? BEDMAS Brackets, Exponents, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction http://mathcentral.uregina.ca/QQ/database/QQ.09.07/h/brit1.html http://www.onlinemathlearning.com/bedmas.html http://www.mathsisfun.com/operation-order-bodmas.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4Xa62buiJI so, will you PLEASE shut the fuck up and stop calling people out with wrong information

  16. To OP, that is sweet. Love that era of Audi, nice find! Brian can you say something positive about something for once? I mean your comments to anything are so typical it isn't even funny. We know you don't like anything other than F-Bodies with no modifications and SVX's. We get it, if you can't appreciate the rarity of this car then STFU, or do a little research on the car and it's race history.

  18. Since when do "experts in their field" matter? We believe what policians tell us about jobs, economy, and the budget instead of the experts in the field that deal with those everyday so... why bother consulting the experts on this? The answer to this problem is Glenn Beck.

  19. Hello everyone, First off...the important stuff...my cars My daily is a little '93 Civic...I refer to it as the snot rocket because it ain't exactly in the best shape. Was a flood title when I bought it, had to go through all kinds of garbage with the Mississippi DMV before I could even get it tagged. Stuff done to it: Ebay Tails/Headlights(rice.......) B18B1 swap from an OBD1 Integra LS Hondata S300(soldered it in myself) Intake/Headers/Exhaust Buddy Club Coilovers Acura Integra GS-R dashboard (integra dashbar mounts welded-in rather than cutting the civic stocker). Best slip was a 15.5 1/4 mile with a 2.3 60-foot, trapping 98. That's why she's the beater for the moment. Future plans for the car include making the car's body panels all have the same color, and swapping the block from a wrecked GSR into it. My relatively faster car: 2005 Dodge Neon 2.4 Turbo (some people forget it's a neon.....) Here's a picture. I'm not big on appearance with my vehicles. You can even see the civic in the background. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v601/prepslider69/DSCN0021.jpg Stuff I put on it: Exhaust Depot 3" turboback exhaust FM Transmission(blew the stocker up in Alabama last summer) Modern Performance 3" O2 housing Mopar Stage 2/Toys Aeromotive RRFPR and -6an fuel setup UHP with a blow-off valve SCTFlash PRP and Diablosport Predator(just use the Pred for datalogging) Ripped out the back half of the interior since I didn't like it. 17x8 rims so I can fit 245/40/17s under the fender. This spring I plan to install coilovers, hopefully I'll get more consistent 60ft times with a better suspension. Once I get the right size injectors, it will be time for some corn gas. I would also <really> love to get rid of the sunroof. That's 30 pounds I don't want. Best i've done in the neon is a 13.38 with a 2.1 60-foot, trapping 107. Would love to bolt up some slicks....but I think you guys have seen my axle "work" at kil-kare before:thumbup: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v601/prepslider69/DSC01200.jpg I live and work in Dayton(originally from a dairy farm down south), but I've been hanging out a lot more in Columbus lately, trying to learn more about my car and what makes it tick....specifically SCT, Diablosport, and HPTuners(if it ever becomes available for Dodge). I go to Kil-Kare whenever I can make it, so you might have seen me there last season.

  28. The order of operations is nice, but things aren't always that simple. 48÷2*(9+3) = 288 48÷2(9+3) = 2 The guy next to me asked how many of these people that are saying 288 have math degrees?
