  1. Your fuckup retard friends are responsible for their lives, not a plant. Why does such a large segment of society shift the blame from the person worthy of it and supplucate and make apologies for them? What happened to taking responsibility for your own actions? No, can't do that, better blame the drugs that these people CHOSE to abuse and ultimately CHOSE over success. If pot didn't exist I'm sure these burnouts would be fucking corporate executives. If only that damn weed hadn't forced them to smoke it. Fuck fuckity-fuck fuck fuck.

  4. http://news.yahoo.com/pentagon-says-iranian-warplanes-fired-u-drone-over-200033688.html Do they not realize this could be construed as an act of war? Had that been a manned plane, I imagine they'd have gotten some missiles fired up their asses.

  6. Unmanned drone is redundant. Anyway, the closing speed between an MQ-1 and an SU-25 is probably somewhere around 350 knots. Harder than you might think to hit something what that speed differential.

  9. It's a question of cause, effect, coincidence or irrelevance. I know guys who smoked in college and they all went on to be successful. Is that because they were smoking weed? No, it's more likely they were successful because they all went to college. So is the weed a cause, an effect, a coincidence or an irrelevance? I don't believe weed causes people to fail in life. I believe some people are destined to fail and weed is a scapegoat. People fail in life despite NOT smoking weed. If weed didn't exist would these people instead all be nobel prize winners?

  11. This was forwarded to me by a friend. Keeping balance and perspective in life is important. In Quest we strive to achieve excellence in all we do but it's also important to "stop and small the roses" from time to time. Enjoy this little anecdote. When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 Beers. A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar . He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.' The professor then produced two cans of beer from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed... 'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to consider that this jar could represent your life.' The golf balls are the important things---your family, your children, your health and your career - and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your favorite pastime, your finances and your friends.. The sand is everything else - the small stuff. 'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there would be no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Spend time with your family...your parents, your children, visit with grandparents. Take care of yourself...your body and spirit. Play another 18 holes of golf...go dancing, enjoy yourself and each moment of your life. There will always be time to clean the house and make repairs. Take care of the golf balls first - the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand. One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the beer represented. The professor smiled and said, 'I'm glad you asked.' The beer just shows you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of beers with a friend.

  15. In further follow up since you have shared so much about your life and make it out to be all shit that's happened to you. You do have the same choices and opportunities as me: We both chose to get married. Obviously how we handled the marraige turned out differently. I'm going on 23yrs. You went through a divorce and are #2 ? We both chose to have kids, you had 5, not sure of the timing. My wife & I had 2, 14yrs after getting married and 3 college degrees between us later. We both owned businesses. You had two that didn't work? We had three plus my career and with her retirement, two are still going strong in addition to my full time gig/career. We both own homes. We bought well below our means and worked to pay it off. Not sure where you stand but you mentioned having a mortgage. We both own multiple cars. Can't say about yours outside payments, we own ours and don't plan on making payments any more. Leased early on to mitigated risks and have fun but own now. Nothing fancy as it's not needed. You grew up in the hood and while I was in a middle class are of Cleveland in the 80's I grew up in a family of immigrants who made what they had. My wife's parents were farmers in SE Ohio living off not a lot and even had an out-house. We paid most of her education but do have some student loans for law school left. You have Diabetes, I went through major back surgery. I've never come close to death though so you're one up on me. In the end, I point all this out because we did / do have the same choices and a lot more in common than you think. Also, since you've shared some personal notes, I thought it only fair to do the same.
