  1. Got home about 30 minutes ago. Stellar weather, awesome road conditions, great folks, good ride, and BBQ ...how could the day be more perfect?

  2. I remember motorcycles and faces better than names. No one in the fast group broke rule #3. No cops. No drops. For an after ride wind down, I just drank a shit ton of vodka at my neighbors house.

  6. Just got home. Probably put down 550 miles or more. Tired. No incidents (at least that i heard of) so that in itself makes it a great day. Tired. But not hurting as much as I thought I would be. We'll see tomorrow. As always thanks Derek for organizing. It was really good to see everyone and meet some new faces. Damn, what a great day. Sent from my iPhone.

  10. Starts at the ferry at Augusta, KY. Most of the riding between Cincy and there is pretty straight and flat. Found some cool roads on the way home (day 3), but didn't record. This video is already about 30 mins long. Day one (wheel level footage) is from Augusta to Cave run lake. Day two is Cave Run lake to RRG area and back. I didn't know YouTube uses different copyright rules for videos over 15 minutes, so it's already blocked in Germany, muted on my Roku and will probably be taken down eventually. Tried to keep it entertaining with music since it's so long. There's some really great riding in that neck of the woods. Make sure you select "HD" Doug

  11. Dyno tuned at DTM. This was the best run as far as #'s. And was in 3rd gear, pulled up to 40 mph just under 7K rpm's hitting 47.8 hp and 43.5 torque. This was achieved on a 3k lb roller car dyno with knobbies on the quad. I wasn't after big #'s, just proper A/F ration. Which I'm sure I have, thanks to Brian from Dyno Tune Motorsports. http://www.dynotunemotorsports.com/

  12. T Minus 20 hours!! Hello fellow riders. I hope to get to the meet spot early, since I will be on 4 wheels and get all signage up so everyone knows where to park. All groups will be marked with a cone and signage. I will also have paper copies of the route for all leads/sweeps if you need it. We are going to have fabulous weather so rain will not be a factor. Fast group will roll first at 11:30AM tentatively or earlier if you prefer and then we can stage out the remaining groups every 10 to 15 minutes. Please be safe and wear all your protective gear, it saved my skin when I went down in July. I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

  14. Is this model weather proof? I mean is it made for motorcycle use? Also, how large is the speed display (when no route is planned)?

  15. Hello all! Getting excited for all of you attending the first fall Epic ride. The weather looks flawless and usually is the last week of September. I wish I was on two wheels, but I promised my wife that I would take the rest of the riding season off to heal. After 8 weeks my back is still swelled up. Other than that I am doing well. The good news is I found a slightly used flawless 2004 all OEM FZ1 Skunk (Black & Silver 2 Tone) to replace my torn up ride. Had to drive to Evansville Indiana to get her. Already made all the necessary mods and I am pumped to ride next season. I am still planning to come to the meet site with my boys, so we can check out all your rides, chat, and then will probably head over to old mans cave to look for crawdads. Everyone be safe getting to the meet site. I am looking forward to seeing you all again.
