there typically is enough clearance to get a allen socket up there.. the pipe is generally just to the left of the drain plug when looking at the bike from rear to front..
Thanks for the heads up John! I always appreciate a "delirious naked children" warning. For everyone else, there's a group of us that will be at the Speedway in Nelsonville around 1pm, give or take.
I say keep it. If it's paid for and you're financially sound enough to pay ins/tag it yearly, then why not. Wife and I just added 2 more bikes to our stable, it's nice to have options
My thought would be if you can swing keeping it and buying another....do it. Some of the best trips and times have been on the Wing with my Wife.....but it just won't satisfy the 18 year old in me so I have to have another. One thing may be helpful is to take her along and see if she it comfortable on it. Just because it is a bagger does not mean the pillion is gonna pass her approval.
Lane splitting can be done the right way or the wrong way. If you do it the wrong way you are at the mercy of the drivers for your safety. If you do it the right way you control your safety no matter what the nuts in cars do. Lane splitting on a regular basis trains riders to always focus on the spaces between the other vehicles rather than the vehicles themselves. This may seem like semantics to the naysayers but it really does make a big difference in safety. You go where you look.
