  1. Neons or LEDs? LEDs draw much less power and would for sure be fine. heres a link to the powerlet site, they say stay under 120 watts of power draw from your add-ons. http://www.powerlet.com/shop-by-vehicle/honda/1998/honda-shadow-aero-vt1100c3-1998-2003/10/334#top_of_tabs

  4. I had a bike just like this! They are awesome! Good luck with the sale.!
  5. Is it worth the chance of the helmet not completely doing its job? Nope. Don't take that chance, replace it. I've got a helmet that my ex dropped in my garage on the concreate floor from about three feet, and i won't wear it. And it was only worn twice before that happened.
  6. Scala G4 is where it's at, best one I've used. Works killer with iPhone.
  7. You do not need inspection, only a change of body affidavit. Easy as pie.
  8. I wouldn't run Rotella in my Diesel truck, which is what it was designed for, so I definitely wouldn't run it in my bike. Not that the Rotella wouldn't work, but there are better oils out there. It's the life blood of my motor, and I want to put the best oil in there possible. There are few things worth cheaping out on, motor oil is not one of them. I'm a big believer in synthetics and run them in every situation I can.
  9. Amsoil all the way 20w50 full syn and K&N for the Falco 10w40 full syn and K&N for the Grizzly
  10. Iron Pony sells Water Wetter, both pre-mixed and concentrated, and Kool-aid pre-mixed.
  11. http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=74&pcid=10 http://www.redlineoil.com/content/files/tech/WaterWetter%20Tech%20Info.pdf Here is some info about it. It can't really lower running temps, at least not passed the thermostat's operating temps. It does how ever cool down faster and takes longer to heat up.

  13. 715? short but fun! and a great view
  14. She would have loved my truck with the 10lbs of chrome plastic male genitals hanging off the back! I wouldn't have thought twice about dusting her ass with all the smoke my truck could put out. I dusted dude in a prius doing 35 in a 50 a week or so ago.
  15. I'd say the hero 2 is the way to go unless you want to spend $500 for the highend contour. Gopros mounts are better and you have more options. From what I've seen the go pros are easier to use as well. I'm very pleased with my hero hd. The highend contour has the Bluetooth that Brian was talking about but it also has a built in gps feature so you can track your rides on a map, and even view elevation changes.
  16. I was really hoping to be able to participate, but I was unable since the bike didn't want to start today. It was great to see all these guys get together for the same reason, plus it just sounded cool. There was a wide range of bikes , two aprilias, a HD, triumph, BMW,yamaha, Honda, kawi, Duc... Pretty much covers all the bases.
  17. I was the Stay Puft Marshmallow man, though when you work in a motorcycle store most people thought i was Bib, the Michelin man....
  18. me and a bunch of the guys from work are doing it, should be hairy fun
  19. i know a girl that got hit in her back with a chain while riding on the back. It went through her leathers and cut her shoulder open pretty good.
  20. I saw this on the way home down 310 tonight. I knew something bad had happened. I've never seen 70 on a stand still like that. RIP fellow rider.

    thats too cute.
  22. I for sure can agree with what KTM-Brian is saying, for those at his level. I'd trust what he says at the track. I hated the oem pads on my VFR, they had more than half life left and i still replaced them with the HH ebc pads. Depending on the bike too, some of the oem pads are organic, mostly cruisers and touring bikes, ebc usually offers a sintered pad for these which would preform much better than the stock.
