Never get footage of myself but this weekend I did (I'm the one in front)! Towing one of my buddy's around Nelson's ledges on my sv. Blake's FZ makes me realize how under-powered my SV is 😪.

I would suggest an r3 if you're looking at small small bikes. More aftermarket support and more parts/set up knowledge in any given paddock. There are r3's circulating in our intermediate group and they do just fine with the right pilot it's just a different riding style. You don't brake LOL.

I taste it every once in a while.

In no particular order: pace, lines, consistency, decision making. Bike size doesnt matter, its how you ride it. I pass $20k machines on my clapped out sv650. Edit: Mid-Ohio's novice group is very structured. You play follow the leader too much (imo). Other orgs will do that the first few laps of the first 2 sessions then let you run your pace.

I think its pretty damn good considering where Motorcycle Road Racing in America is right now... basically non-existent. Unrelated: I think it's funny that all those "major" sports are cancelling their season. Players that are paid more a season than the entirety of some MA team budgets combined are saying I don't wanna play. You'll never hear that from a motorcycle racer. "Oh my arm is about to fall off? Cool good thing my 1pc suit will keep it attached. Lets go racing!"
