  1. It wasn't in this thread that you said you were 17 You claimed that you were waiting until your birthday to get your license. I didn't know that the driving age had been raised to 18.
  2. I was wondering if there are any kinds of nuclear facilities of any kind around here? Yesterday, Joneze, his girlfriend Toni and I went to Zanesville, and on I70 we passed a semi with a flatbed trailer. The trailer had wide load signs, and on it, was a very large, grey metal container that had "Radioactive" stenciled on the side. Following it was a large tow truck capable of towing the semi, and a statey with the red and blues on. My question is, does anyone have any clue what this might be? At first I thought it might be radioactive waste, but it didn't say waste anywhere. My second guess was missile warhead
  3. I take it you are 15 years old?
  4. you know what's kept loaded behind my door, too graemlins/nutkick.gif
  5. Sam sure does enjoy showing off his extensive porn collection graemlins/supergay.gif
  6. Ignore Jason, he doesn't understand minitruck mentality. When I first joined, I got a lot of flak for driving a truck, but people have come to realize that it's just another form of automotive passion. However, I am going to have to agree with the lack of understanding as to why you would tear up a perfectly good mini offroading.
  7. I think it's about time we go to Eagle's Pizza graemlins/nod.gif
  8. Justin on here, I think his current name is "The Fuzz" he used to be BIG BIRD or some shit. He does very good paintwork for a good price, If you are interested I can have him PM you
  9. Sunoco 89 if I can, Speedway if all else fails. My valve train shuts up on 91+ octane, but I can't justify the price anymore
  10. wow, that looks REALLY good. some things that I noticed right away that definately wouldn't make it are: door handles aren't realistic side mirrors are too small might not be enough space for the flip-around headlights brakes are too small wheels/tires are way to big a production vehicle would have a lot more gap between the tires and fenders the front looks to be a tad bit short. If this design plans on having the engine mounted like in the 4th gens, then the passenger compartment needs to be longer. Overall, I would have to guess that this pic did not come from anyone at GM. However, that would be a great car to build.
  11. I've got a '95 Mercury Mystique (re-badged Ford Contour) for sale I THINK 136,xxx miles, I can double check 2.5L V6 auto, A/C, cruise, power windows, locks and seats asking $2,900 OBO, if interested I can get some pics It's my step-father's car, I'm just trying to sell it for him, but I do have it in my possession up here in Dublin.
  12. Would you happen to have any body parts? A friend of mine is in need of a hood, driver side fender, and the top part of the flip-up head lights for both sides. It had something to do with going underneath a van I believe
  13. I thought it was because the Democratic party is the closest thing to being a Socialist party in the US, seeing how that's what Eli's actual belief's are? I'll never figure out why we don't have a Socialist government here, it sure works great in Europe!
  14. They stuck her in West Virginia! That alone is worse punishment that prison!

    Shoot me.

Stock for stock, probably the turbo 7M is faster, the 1UZ is probably more powerful than an N/A 7M though. The 1UZ is FAR more reliable than a 7M. It's not just as easy as splicing the harness. You are going from a 6 cylinder to an 8. The ECU that is designed for the 1UZ is a PITA to deal with, which is why I think it would be better to go entirely with an aftermarket engime management system, like the Megasquirt. It's very possible to get all of the engine driven accesories, including A/C, to work. You would use all of the accessories that come with the new motor, and just connect them to where they need to go on the car. For more info, check out these sights: http://www.lextreme.com/ http://v8supra.com/ Unfortuanately, the only people that are really messing with these motors seem to be in New Zealand or Australia, so it's a bit difficult to get parts. However, I think that more and more people are starting to realize the potential of these motors.

    Shoot me.

To make it a turbo motor, and do it right, I estimate it would cost around $10 grand, but that's including about $1,000 to buy the car itself. With low compression pistons, a bigass turbo, good fuel and ignition 600 RWHP is very attainable. The 1UZFE comes in the LS400, the SC400, and something else, can't remember, but the one in the SC400 is the only one with the correct oil pan to clear the crossmember. The bellhousing to mate up to the R154 tranny has to be ordered from New Zealand. I still haven't figured out how to set up the electrical system and fuel management Oh, and $500 is for a used motor. Which is fine, because these motors last ~400k miles if left stock and reasonably maintaned
  17. That's the sport truck that Toyota is releasing in '05. I think that pic originally came from Toyota, but the drop was photoshopped. I'm not sure about the wheels, I'm fairly sure that it will come with 18"s from the factory. Damn I want this truck.
  18. Liberal advocacy groups definately are not a part of the right, which makes them....?

    Shoot me.

1UZFE Lexus 4.0 Liter V8 The engine is only around $500, but to do the complete swap would be pricey, I've researched this idea quite a bit.
  20. Eli, I read that second link that you posted. It appears that the people they are expecting to fight against their proposal are other democrats. From what I understood, they took President Bush's proposal and added to it, right? Also, they are asking for $5 Billion for childcare, in an attempt to get single mothers to get to work? I think that unemployment is a good system, and I don't see it needing to be changed at this time. I understand that there is a need for welfare, but I would like to see it changed. There needs to be a better system for getting child support. My main idea, is that I feel there should be mandatory drug screening before a person gets their welfare check, every time. I strongly feel that our tax dollars should not be feeding anyone's crack habit. Education can't fix everything, many people just don't want to listen. Take away something, and a person will stand up and open their eyes.
  21. lol, I know where he lives. I suppose I had better, seeing how I've known him for a decade now. I may just have to drive over there and have a chat with him tongue.gif
  22. You're a mod now? Damn, I didn't even notice graemlins/nutkick.gif
