There are people that legitimately need the help, people that would not survive without it. There are also baby factories and people that abuse the help while making money in less than legal ways who obviously don't report the earnings.
Notice how the economy was at its lowest point in decades immediately after the minimum wage went up?

But no, there's no correlation there whatsoever.
I've come to realize that there are liberals that don't understand money whatsoever, which is why they hate it and hate people that have it.
The people in this country that are in poverty still live better than the middle class of most of the other countries on this planet. They can live without cable TV and a big screen and cigarettes, that doesn't make them suffer.
"Performance Sedans" are the problem. Why, exactly, has the coupe died? Sports cars are 2 doors, that might have something that looks like a back seat to keep the insurance companies happy, not big fat family haulers.
There's a place on Rt. 37 between Sunbury and Johnstown. I don't know if it's the same place Evan was talking about. I've never had a deer processed so I don't know if they are any good or not.
The point is, whatever food is on the market will be bought. There would be a surplus for a while but there are plenty of other hungry countries that don't have the ability to grow that would be happy to buy it.
But for buying locally grown - it's already more expensive, yet people still buy it. People are willing to pay more because its better, and that won't change until people have no money to spend.
I'm going to try out the ALG Combat Trigger. I've read good things about them.
