I hear that modern tires are about 80% of normal traction in rain. Not counting the slippery spots you have to watch for. I often test traction with the rear brake before deciding how much front brake. And that's a quick tap on the back brake, assuming that traction will be lost and it will slide to the side a bit. I think it is good to know how to use the rear brake in a series of quick taps that skid back and forth. You never know when you will need to use it, like on gravel or sand. Dirt bike riders already know this.

Nope, most of these are easy, except that affect vs effect. For me, it's loose vs lose. I have to stop and look it up way too often.

I heard tonight that there has been two different high speed events. Checking... edit: ehhh, two of them yes, but they were together when speeding. It took four days to charge one, and eight days for the other. Everyone typically misspells some words constantly. For me it's jsut instead of just. It's how people know they are talking to the real thing and not an internet impostor.

Although I'm not really needed, postings in this forum automatically underline in red, when they are possibly misspelled. Right-click on the underlined suspect word, for possible correct spellings.
