  2. True, but don't try it going through Maryland. They don't care. Actually, California is a pain also.
  3. Nope. Chicago has it's own laws. Very strict, like DC and New York City.
  4. If you read the back story in Michigan, it's been a political football for quite a while. Each side trying to boost or throttle back the Michigan unions. It's been going on long enough, it can't be seen who initiated the contest. But it did escalate by both sides. Crank it up.
  5. Couldn't even transport a handgun into Illinois, I thought. Certainly not into Chicago. nm, from Illinois State Police website: How do I legally transport a firearm on my person or in my vehicle? In order to comply with the Criminal Code, the Wildlife Code, and the Firearm Owner’s Identification Act, when transporting a firearm, it must be: broken down in a non-functioning state; or not immediately accessible; or unloaded and enclosed in a case, firearm carrying box, shipping box, or other container by a person who has been issued a currently valid Firearm Owner’s Identification Card.
  6. Or actually, a federal appeals court ordered the state to implement. The last state to allow Concealed Carry State has 180 days to set it up. I wonder if there will be any reciprocity with other states. I really doubt that. Court strikes down Illinois concealed carry ban
  7. I want to see a 750cc bike that weighs less than 400 pounds. I realize it would probably be a thumper and all plastic/carbon. But I can hope for a 2cyl or 4cyl.
  8. A closed shop means you get fired or transferred to another job if you refuse to join. So eliminating that is probably a decent thing to do. This isn't Communist/Socialist Russia/China anymore.
  9. well I'll be a three eyed toad... The android app is being reconfigured, and was taken down from the Play store. I started the app, and it said that, and to use the website until they get it done. darn... You'd be searching for "slooh space camera" if it were there
  10. Both, although the app works better for me than the website. This is 4179 Toutatis/1989 AC, missing by 4,000,000 miles. A Chinese lunar probe will be able to take some close ups when it goes by. Oddly, 2 days ago, an asteroid XE54 missed by 140,000 miles. That one wasn't spotted till two days prior to arrival. Other winners were 2011MD in June 2011, that missed by 7500 miles. And another in 2011 that missed by 3.400 miles. Too small to see until they get close. But also too small to actually hit, they would burn up in the air in a big light show. Except this one tonight, the 4179 Toutatis is 3 miles long. That's big.
  11. nah, it's just a hole in the roof with a bottle lit from the Sun. Seems to work pretty good compared to no electricity.
  12. No more "closed shop", where all have to pay to play. Cannot be forced.
  13. I run Slooh on both computer and Droids as an app. Interesting stuff if you catch it at the right time.
  14. ding ding ding cOoTeR wins the 500th post award
  15. Added link to CNN video above ^ Breaking news, just now showing up. But it was 3 hours ago.
  16. CNN Video 02:04 PM ET Multiple structures on fire after gas line explodes in Sissonville, West Virginia Well, glad I wasn't on I-77 today... That's the county where Charleston is. Explosion was at Sissonville, West Virginia. North of Charleston. http://www.dailymail.com/mediafiles/thumbs/450/600/sissroad_I121211155152.jpg
  17. Wouldn't the plastic be bio-degradable, and quickly rot away? edit: oops... Bottles made with Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET or PETE) will never biodegrade. It can take 1000 years...
  18. Look at they way they were walking. Bunch of kids.
  19. Fire House Subs claims they have gluten free bread also.
  20. argh... done Jason's Deli Columbus, OH: Polaris 1122 Gemini Pl Columbus, OH 43240 Dublin, OH: Dublin Deli 225 W Bridge St Dublin, OH 43017 Grandview Heights, OH 775 Yard St Grandview Heights, OH 43212 Jason's Deli Gluten Free sammich menu: http://www.jasonsdeli.com/system/files/private/menus/jasons_deli_gluten_menu_3.pdf
  21. Quit whinnin', they make gluten free sammich bread. And there's got to be a Deli around with a gluten free sammich somewhere.
  22. Just trying to hide that reverse tramp stamp...
  23. Shoot. I'd even expect the production engine to spin off a standard and a cruiser with torque and more torque. Got to love a V-4.
  24. *speed reads* I thought that was the one you were talking about. Looks good, especially for all the miles. Didn't get to see the pan debris. Some oil heat glazing, and a little carbon build up in the oil. Wondering how often the oil was changed. But did notice it was Rotella T Triple going back in. Mineral oil. That's what I used in the Spring this last year in one bike, and thought it could be better oil in a couple of ways. I'll let you know in the next Spring after trying something else.
  25. Yeah, an accidental discharge of a 22cal rimfire in my area, left the guy's house through the exterior wall, entered the neighbor's house, exited the neighbor's house and got lost. Lager calibers get more houses. You never know.
