I've liked the vision since they came out and I just really don't care for many of the HD's Traded the 14 in.. I was upside down on it and selling it myself wouldn't have worked out as good I got comfort and a bike that books for more than I owe and payment only went up $32

does that vest have a "prez" patch to go on it?

It's a '09 and it's amazing it will take a few miles to get used to coming off the zx14 but I'm loving it.

To me the Rocket III doesn't feel right the tank is too wide or something and if I was looking for a bike to tour on the Rocket III fuel mileage would eliminate it from my list. Also none of the ones I have seen at dealers or show have had cruise control maybe it's an option maybe it isn't but for a long haul touring bike it should have cruise. Between the victory and HD I really like the victory line I have never ridden either bike but I have heard from several people that have owned both victory and HD and they have told me the victory is hands down a better bike handling, power, comfort, reliability they have it all covered. I plan on picking up a victory cross country tour in another year or so when there are more on the used market.

Welcome I used to recommend Ohio motorcylce to people but after the way the service manager carried on last time I was there I will never go back and will never recommend them to anyone again. Make the trek down to iron pony and you will have many options to try on then call riders discount.

I have these also very comfortable I may have the air version because they flow a lot of air can actually feel the air flow through the boot.

IMHO you have more leverage with the forward handle

I sold my rear handle because I liked my forward handle much better depending on the size of your spools it can be tricky the first few times you use it but I have pitbull spools and they are pretty small and I can line it up easy now that I'm used to it. Oh and now that my bike is stretched I don't think a rear handle would work.

I've heard of people using coarse steel wool not the fine shit because it's flammable and seen write up someone used those copper scouring pads (chore boy). But I don't know if anything will hold up as long as actual muffler packing.
