Dont forget to get your pitbike rear wheel repaired! Welcome! -
I m going to guess after a few of the comments that Ringo has made it might be best just to leave and probably not come around, especially in person. Actually I don't think we've ever had an issue with someone on the caliber of this guy, but that is just my opinion. All I care about in this thread anymore is making sure that the dog is in a happy place with someone who has time for her. If none of us are "worthy of her" then take her to the pound, lets us know where she is, and I am sure she will be fine.
-
Well, I m sure he read all the posts offering him cash, but to "save face" as not to "sell the dog" because that wasn't his intention obviouslly, he won't take anyone up on it. Ringo, as we said, time to move on. And if others don't want to post or think we are immature, but yet, talk to you etc. then that is their choice. I highly doubt we care. You can get 400 out of your dog and give it to a better place, who has time for her, isn't putting 500+ miles on their bike a day, tough to due I m sure with the great weather, especially since you are busy with class, owning your business, and your house. I mean non of the rest of us have anything like that I am sure.

Damn dude, did it hurt?
-
Yep thunder is starting now, dog is flipping out. Thank gosh I ran to IP to get fitted for new boots and came right home to mow and get my yard work done for the week. I love ohio.... not.
-
Actually I agree with Jbot, minus the whole 4.99lb part lol. But for real, I'd say lets shut this thread down and maybe get it out of here forever. It really stirred up a hornets nest, and I think alot of us finally have had enough.

He loves beaver.... and spooning.
-
Dude rest that thing up and ice and elevate bro.
-
Blue, actually I never got an invite into your trailer for alone time.... Ask Grapesmuggler.

Dog Whisperer, or if you re famaliar with how he worked on South Park, maybe he can teach you not to be such an a&&clown instead of working with the dog. After you started another post whore edition like 10000 you decide to keep the dog, even though people have offered numerous times to take her off your hands, pay you some of your losses, etc. You sir, are truly a DB. Since you decided to keep the dog and no longer need OR to try to sell her, can you leave? We are all begging you.

I hate you all doing the 7th. If 2 other people weren't already off all week and I had to get an exception to take thurs/fri off work Id be there too. Andy, are you going to be big or little spoon in Grattan next weekend?
-
Nice. Andy, remember hocking last season with those guys in the combine doing 15mph on 188, and not letting cars around. WTF is wrong with people.
-
Yeah then she lied to you and screwed you. Actually I hope she did, hard. Either way, just give her to a better home.
-
Honestly bro, if she really lieks you etc, I would go. I know everytime I think about having to put my dog down(hes only 6 or 7 now) I get teary eyed even now, but I think I would want to be there. Some vets will actually do it at your house too, which some people feel is best for the dog. My dog hates the vet, so I feel I would go this route. Best wishes man.

Your story is TOTAL SH*T. I adopted my dog from Zville pound/shelter too, so I know the facts there. Yes it is a kill facility, BUT dogs are 75.00-125, not 500. Listen give the dog to any of the other people that posted above, and move on. Actually when I said move on, I mean, GTFO of here. Basically you just started a sh*t storm you can't handle by this post, trust me. Too many of us are not only bike lovers but animal lovers. Actually Basco is one of the biggest reasons I sold my street bike. Any time spent away from the house working, commuting, working out, etc. was enough and I knew I wouldnt be able to ride along with all that. Basically you think you are sweet, you say you are in college, run a business, have a house, no one really gives a sh*t. You've brought 0 good to this place, and even if you did save the dog, I am sure someone else would have too from the sounds of it. I've never been really worked up and gotten into a post like this online, mainly because I think cyberfighting is like trying to screw yourself, pointless. But this guy has rubbed me wrong the whole time, and now like i said, you dug a big hole bud. You won't get out of it. EDIT: My neighbors Husky just died actually a few months ago, let me ask them if they want it. Then you have like 4 people that would take her off your hands so you can ride and spend time doing all this other important stuff, because obviouslly spending time off the internet with her isn't.
-
Bro I ll be real honest, that post made me sick. You got the dog, and I understand that now you may regret it but, you don't just give her away to "ride" and be busy. You make time for them, you act like an adult. This is how life goes, especially when you become responsible for the life of another animal, adult, child, whatever it may be. A goldfish if needed, I don't care. Maybe you should get off the internet so much starting all kinds of wars and battles with people and acting like a child, and spend time with her. I dunno just a thought. Sorry man, wait no I'm not, but this is something that really hits me hard and I won't sit back just to see another person who made a commitment to an animal who is helpless, and relies on us, just get rid of them so they can spend more time on the internet, or riding so many miles a day. Mods, if you want to edit or remove that is fine, but I don't care. This needs to be said, and I know DAMN well that a lot of you feel the same way so I will get it out there. Hopefully someone who isn't as busy as a 19yr old kid, riding their bike, and being a DB can give this dog what she deserves, a loving home. Try Craigslist too, she deserves way better.

madcat6183 replied to Dubguy85's topic in Daily Ride
So wait a minute, that guy had been riding for "40" years but never had a tank wobble? So uh, what did he do drive in circles in his driveway? Come on. -

Ill be there for the Jamie Johnson concert but not for the demo. -
Fail, another weekend I can't go. Well technically I will already be in Michigan, but on the other side of the state for family vacation. I will be at Grattan June 4th weekend, and then again later in season.

Grape hit the nail on the head. If I still rode street I wouldn't have spent money on a track bike, I would have gotten a few good improvements to my street bike and left it at that. Suspension, brakes, Bazaaz, etc. As it is, I no longer enjoy riding on the street, maybe a cruiser sooner than later, but honestly, I have too many other things going on to even think about street riding. I sold my street bike and had a budget in mind, a very tight budget mind you. I shopped Wera for about 2 months hardcore before Nick found a bike that was set up with everything plus spares for what I wanted to spend. Basically the only thing it could use is a heavier spring becuase I can't seem to lose the weight to get down to the set spring weight, but Im close. Either way, if you are looking for a dedicated track bike, I would buy it already done up. I feel that is a much better option then trying to spend cash on a bike you buy for the track but needs changed over. If you still want to ride street, then I would consider just upgrading the big components on the daily driver. Maybe get a spare set of rims with track only tires though.
