  1. Yeah, basically blew mine up. I am still recovering from the trama my GSXR received from you that weekend. Poor guy.
  2. Congrats! Im stuck home again with a sick little one. Cannot wait until he's healthy again because I am losing my mind.
  3. So you did the Radon exhaust all yourself? Nice! That was my idea too if we fail the test, fans look cheap, just need electric and a hole to plumb it out. Not to be a DB, but if you get a chance to take a few pics next time you're in there/basement just of the sump area connection, I'd appreciate it. I can PM email/cell. Thanks!
  4. I am hoping once we put 2-3 layers of vapor barrier down it won't. However this has also gone through my mind, really not sure.
  5. 1998, I have to mention this crawl space is much different than a crawl space under a house with no basement at all. It already has the vapor barrier installed with insulation as well. It's a storage area with rock floors. We do plan to add lava rock as that draws out moisture as well.
  6. Yeah, this has also been discussed/covered Obviously my thinking is they shouldn't be in our house, and if they are, no claws, but apparently, I am not smart. Instead I have to do all of this because they trashed the basement. Will be on our second round of carpet section from how much the bastards puke too. However, I won't be offering to pay for any of this piece since they ruined the one I already bought. In less than a year mind you.
  7. Well, funny you should ask, meeting tomorrow with a new Realtor. The last one was a total bust and we missed on some clients due to some serious issues with his company. This is why I don't want to drop much money into it, BUT we have to do at least the bare minimum to make it slightly nicer. Right now the plan is to do what I said above, tear everything out, then place all new vapor barrier x 2 or 3 layers, then get a dehumidifier and possibly also run a fan in there to move air. There is electric which is good, but not sure I like the idea of a fan running 24x7 vs just a dehumidifier. I think I probably will build a door with hinges and a latch along with a cat door to, just to cut back on the smell slightly.
  8. Long story short, need to make the crawl space not a totally miserable place, but not going to drop a shitload of cash to put in a concrete floor or anything like that. Right now it's mainly 57's and some random other grave with clear vapor barrier and pink vapor barrier backed insulation(cats have destroyed this stuff). So with that, the insulation/vapor barrier wall coverings are coming out as apparently they trap and hold moisture, and we are replacing the vapor film with black, probably lay 2 layers, maybe more. My thing is, I read there are supposed to be vents and/or some air movement in these things and ours has NONE. It opens to our partial basement where the cats, laundry, and some clothes are, HVAC, water heater, that kind of shit. Issue it, it obviously does draw some heat/cool from the basement area through the door, but I don't think I want to "seal" it off either with a door. What have others done for partial basement/crawl space areas? Anyone add an external fan(passed radon test when I bought the house, buying another this week to do myself) so not really a radon mitigation setup, just an external fan. Dehumidifiers(not running one now), adding vents(would need to seal off from basement and insulate under the floor, don't want this option really). We have holiday stuff, some of our collections, and some random stuff in there now, and the cats like to play in the area since the rafters are open, and it's a bigger open space. ??
  9. I am 100% fine with it. I wish it would have been 19 hours, maybe longer. Who is to say how long the lady he murdered suffered, what about her family? Totally fine with it. The lawsuit is epic BS but can't say I am surprised.
  10. Wow, hearda bout this earlier, I just don't get it. I mean the Browns team as a whole has imploded. Who would want to coach there anyways? It just ruins your future in the NFL, NCAA, high school, pee wee league, life in general.
  11. So true on this. It's hard/impossible to truly understand and stay up on all of them, BUT when in doubt, I carry. I will deal with the consequences if they arise, but I never want to regret not having it.
  12. I like you too. It sounds awful, but if something happened to my family, to the point where I was all that is left. I will definitely play the role of the punisher to the best of my ability.
  13. Dead, bye bye. Said it took 10-15 minutes for him to full pass and for 10 mins or so there were snoring and other sounds. Hopefully he suffered a lot, just like the lady he sodomized and then slit her throat did. Just wish it would've happened years ago and we didn't have to spend tax dollars to keep him alive this long.
  14. But I bet it goes bang Next thing you know it will be the "high point" of Blackguns, and everyone will say they kill people.
  15. Man I miss mine, this would be the first bike I would buy if I was in the market. Loved that thing.
  16. Normally I would too, and not saying he is wrong, but since the county prosecutor said this guy was in his right, I will also take that for what it is worth. And if I ever had an issue I would then cite that previous response by the courts.
  17. So, turns out New Albany PD went to the County Prosecuter on this and they said nothing was wrong as you can carry legally when dropping off/picking up kid, so long as not entering the school. But can be out of vehicle. This was in the Dispatch I guess, but my I.E. shuts down anytime I try to find it. Sorry, I got it from Columbus Concealed Carry's facebook page, but said it was taken from Dispatch. This is an Ohio law, no idea about other states.
  18. I wouldn't lose Vaca to take a new job, would make them match. As for pay, if he is asking for your yearly, probably going to be a straight salary offer, be very careful with how they word the offer, I just had this happen with me. It was an EXEMPT position meaning NO OT, and a pay cut. I had planned to make up difference via OT pay but when they said EXEMPT I knew I would only be paid my annual salary and that was it. Everything else was the same and they even had an onsite gym, to save me 20 bucks a month. But in the end, I wasn't disatisfied enough with my current job to move. Oh and then 2 weeks later I got a promotion, not a raise, but a promotion. Hope to find out about a bonus in next few days(crossing fingers). But yeah, I'm with Recon, mark it up a ton, never step back either. I did that once, was promised the world, still recovering from the paycut and misery that was that job. Literally made me a terrible person and broke my savings.
  19. Obviously I don't mean like Eastland etc. but it's still gotten trashy and ghetto IMHO. Sure they have nice stores, but at night, everytime I used to go, you had trash everywhere. I did hear the cops cracked down on that, but I wouldn't go regardless anymore. Actually, I'd probably go to Eastland instead to be honest. I know people carry there(licensed and not) and there no carry signs are like the size of a business card on their mall maps, NOT the doors, so not sure how that would play out.
  20. Ahhhhhh, that makes sense because at that time I definitely was NOT thinking of kids and all the stuff along with it, like schools. Yeah, family friend back home got busted at Easton, huge disaster, lawyers, court, jail, fines, etc. We don't shop there if we can help it due to that. Place is ghetto as sh*t anymore and thugs don't usually follow the rules/laws.
  21. Weird, used to be able to have it in a locked vehicle on grounds, I know when I took my class you could, because I brought up my campus since I was a college student. I wonder however what exactly "locked vehicle" is considered, as I have a Bulldog vault in my car for locking up my firearm. Interesting as to the changes, kinda make it pointless to even carry if you have kids, which is epic, total BS.
