  1. Around $80-$100. I've seen some go for more. Depends on mileage and how good of a description you put up. The better you make it sound the more they will pay. I paid $100 for mine with 1000 said miles on it and it was a special edition/ Black and gray. So it was more desirable with the color scheme and low mileage. I would put it up on ebay with a $100 reserve and no be surprised if I got more than that.
  2. Riding for me is a time to let everything go and just focus on whats ahead of me and where I want to go.
  3. For you Held glove fans this might be a good deal if your looking for some new gloves. Idk never worn them. Just got this email 5 minutes ago. Protective Apparel | Boots | Gloves | Helmets | Armor | Raingear | Misc Luggage | Track/Garage | Parts | Accessories | Dual Sport | Off Road All Closeouts: Apparel | Parts & Accessories Held Sprint Gloves, Now $129 Its not often we get a closeout on Held gloves, but we were able to buy all the remaining inventory of this glove (in the US anyway). This glove offers the same comfort as the popular Steve glove (with the kangaroo palm), but with more abrasion and crash protection. A true bargain in a high quality product! These gloves will work great for anyone from the everyday street rider to the aggressive sport rider. The gloves have many of the features found in racing gloves but without a molded knuckle protector (which some find to be a "bit much" for street use). Get Held quality and protection at a bargain price! Use the drop down menu on the product page to view the sizes available for sale. Right now, we have all sizes from glove sizes 7 to 12 (same as alpha sizes Small to XXXL). MSRP: $199.99, Now $129
  4. I didn't see you say anything about your shock. If you still have it you might want to post it up on ebay or sell it to me for a good price. The Sv guys love your shock. I have one on mine and couldn't be much happier.
  5. This should be interesting! The Us's baby is the mid east and the Un's baby is Africa. Many of the African nations tryed to fight back with a contractor from South Africa but the UN made them stop and shut down operations because the gorillas complained the fighting wasn't fair anymore. So the Un came in with no ammo and their lame ass humanitarian aid. Killing in the nations went right back where it was before the contractors. I can't find the article but it's out there. Like you said Iraq, along with other places, should have been taken care of a long time ago. It wasn't and anyone who thinks we are done there are ignorant to history. Imo we are fighting to different wars. The US is fighting a war for peace and as some say oil. I don't quite agree with that but it's a view. These radicals are fighting a holy war and never want peace. We are fighting a war for what we think will help people and they are fighting a war to further their cause predetermined by there Sheiks and warlords. Imo it's a loosing battle. But I would rather keep them where they are than sit back and see what they plan on doing again. All these people do is think of ways to promote their cause. Literally every second of everyday and act on it without fear. War is an ugly thing. People are going to die, it's the way it is and has been since the beginning of time. It's not going to change now. Well maybe someday but I'm not getting into that. I believe most of the Military understand that and are willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Thank God for that. If you went into the Military and didn't expect to have to fight a war you fooled yourself. That's what it's all about. They don't go through all that training to sit around and play video games. Most of the soldiers I have talk to want to do what they need to do. Less politics and more Get'R'Done.
  6. Twist and shout to get that knee out! Gangsta.
  7. Nice pics and write up Kosmo! Looks like you had a good time.
  8. I totally disagree with this statement! Dragging a knee at 90 on the streets is just as Squidly as doing a wheelie in traffic. Both are just as dangerous weather the rider is skilled or not. Dragging knee on the track and do wheelies in a parking lot is respectable. I do agree cornering is a lot more fun. But going to the extreme of dragging knee at 90 is reckless no matter what anyone says. Hell watch the TT. At the speeds those guys are riding many times they don't even touch a knee. While you watch gap videos with guys trying stick the knee out as far as they can just to get it down. STUPID! Look at me, Look at me. I can do a wheelie and use my knee pucks! I'm cool! It's seems really hard to find riders who can find a happy median with there bikes capabilities, their skills being content in the middle. Always one extreme to another.
  9. I just wrote a book on that and deleted it because this shit pisses me off. +1 IP great summary of what I was just typing. Do your job as parents. If you don't have enough time to talk to your kids about stuff like this your not a parent. Your a failure! Re prioritize your time and take care of your kids not just with toys and being a friend but with discussion and parenting. Stop expecting people to do your duty for you.
  10. I think it all depends on the rider on how well any bike corners. Sometimes when I talk to other riders it's makes me realize how stupid some people can be. From people you expect to have a clue they seem to have none at all. I have the bike I have, you have the bike you have. Just ride the damn thing and leave the competition at the door. Just ride your own bike and be happy with it.
  11. Maybe we could run 2 different routes on the the way home. I agree with IP that rt.6 home would kind of suck. I played with the map a little and think maybe a longer more back road type of ride home would work like this.http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Center+Rd%2FOH-7&daddr=Grand+Army+of+the+Republic+Hwy%2FPA-6%2FUS-6+to:Terrace+St+to:PA-27+to:Neiltown+Rd%2FPA-227+to:PA-666+to:PA-948+to:PA-948+to:Highland+Rd%2FPA-948+to:41.362895,-78.631897+to:1452+Woodland+Rd+Clearfield,+PA+16830+to:PA-949+to:PA-949%2FRte-949+to:Clear+Creek+Rd%2FPA-949+to:PA-36%2FRte-36+to:PA-36%2FRte-36+to:PA-36%2FRte-36+to:Pine+Hollow+Dr+to:Sandy+Lake+Polk+Rd%2FUS-62+to:OH-88%2FState+Route+88&geocode=FTpUfgIdnJAy-w%3BFXXjewIdKBo0-w%3BFdBwewIdUvc4-w%3BFdigegIdlJc9-w%3BFX7SegId4BRC-w%3BFVwEegIdRLtG-w%3BFfAjewIdxKVK-w%3BFe5NegIdDYdM-w%3BFebeeQIdir5N-w%3B%3B%3BFXaidgIdaExL-w%3BFWA7dgIdJDNJ-w%3BFejRdQIdBu1I-w%3BFYx4dgIdBnVI-w%3BFSKNdgIdrHVH-w%3BFdykdwIdsPZE-w%3BFfYleAIdDPBE-w%3BFYLrdgIdgAg7-w%3BFeSDdwIdsJ8y-w&hl=en&mra=dpe&mrcr=1&mrsp=9&sz=11&via=1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18&dirflg=ht&sll=41.267485,-78.668976&sspn=0.295729,0.511551&ie=UTF8&ll=41.492121,-79.337769&spn=1.17882,2.046204&t=h&z=9
  12. Well I got them a little while ago. New Enough can't say enough good about them! Now it's time to get out and break them in. So far they are comfortable. I bought the xl. The fingers a touch long but the rest of the glove fits snug. If I went down a size smaller I think it would be to tight in the palm. Thanks for the suggestions and I'm thinking I couldn't have made a better choice. Maybe I'll change my mind but doubt it. I'll keep up updated over the next couple weeks.
  13. Looks like you got some stuff I'm familiar with. All in all it looks like a good ride. Let me know when you are going.
  14. Depending on the exact day, I should be able to make another trip over. I wanted to do one more maybe in 2 weeks at the earliest. One of my friends was talking about it. Most likely in the fall when the leaves are changing. I went once last fall and it was great. Conn-e-rot post up a map of wanting to go. It's nice riding over there, not technical, nice sweepers, good scenery, what more could you ask for. I haven't had a bad ride over there yet. But my time line is never any good. If you haven't already, check out this link and see if you have any of these roads on your map.
  15. I'm not to concerned about it. Between the riders I have talked to and the reviews like this one. They should be exactly what I need.
  16. Are you happy with their work and service? I've heard good things but never had them work on anything.
  17. I already ordered the Cortechs from Newenough. Should have them this week.
  18. My kickstand was shortened when I bought my bike with lowering links on it. I would guess you would have to shorten it up.
  19. It's insane what that girl is going through. The detail she describes makes me cringe.
  20. I never ended up trying any on because they didn't have any glove that I wanted. Most of the places didn't even have gauntlet gloves at all. It was a waste of 150 miles in gas and 4 hours in the car. I guess I got to see some nice bikes I will most likely never own. Also Learned that Honda DN-01 is one ugly beast!
  21. My oldest and I were up there earlier today looking for gloves to try on. Stopped at State 8, And every other shop along the way back towards home. Didn't find any gloves but did see Repsol Oil at just about every shop especially the ones with a big Honda sign outside. Even saw a sign for it at Mph cycles across from State 8. I would think Just for Fun in Middlefield would have been a lot closer and had what you were looking for. Good thing you got it. How's that bike coming back together? If your changing oil I would guess it must be just about ready. No?
  22. Most likely this is the glove I'm getting. Everybody I have talked to and everything I have read has been very positive. I don't mind if they take a little longer to put on. I'm not in a rush. Between the ear plugs, helmet, jacket, three straps on the glove isn't going to hold me up from a good days ride.
  23. He's looking more into a Viffer or a KTM adventure bike. He is already talking to the owners of both. I let him know, we should be up at the bar later.
