I am well aware of what goes on I have been there done that. I know about the section being roped off. They do that several times a year at different events. It's about time they had a good night. The last couple weeks the weather has been sketchy. Just about every "Bike Night" I have ever been to is 75%+ cruisers > sport bikes.

I didn't go out there just for the reason of the stunting going on. It always brings out the riders I don't want anything to do with. Besides I don't normally go to these type things. Once you have seen one stunt show you have seen them all. There is a huge group that goes out every Wednesday and has for years. I will never go on that ride for several reasons. This accident is one of them. Stunting should be done in a parking lot not on the freeway in traffic. Along with the fact it gives us sport bike riders a bad wrap. $.02

Hello! Take a MSF course. They will gladly help you get familiar with all the basics and teach you the skills you will need for your life of riding. I'll decide if I'm going down closer to the date. Within a day or two. Weather and whatever comes up would be the only thing to prevent me from going down.

If I had a trailer I'm sure I would be down there every couple weekends. Find a primitive camp ground and stay the whole weekend. 2 reasons 1. The 100-150 miles to take to get to the good stuff is going to have to be repeated at the end of the day if I don't have a trailer. 2. If something like what happened to Rob was to happen to me I can assure the bike a way home with out making a production.

I have no problem with what they do if they keep it in the parking lots. But they don't. It just makes other sportbike riders look bad. I have personal experience with this. As far as rocking the streets, if that's what you call riding the freeway with 200 bikes screwing up traffic and pissing everyone off that's not in their posse. Last year I tried to talk to some of those guys but the don't ride any back roads and very rarely if that. Every time I have heard of them riding anything twisty they have some kind of accident and everyone's running off because someone doesn't have a license, insurance or a warrant. Some of the guys are alright to talk to but I don't think I will ever ride with them. Just want to make my issue clear. But like you said 2 each their own.

I just remembered. RideOhio and this other NEO site I go to have some kind of text messaging system. Everyone that wants to belong inputs their # into their user CP. With this they send a text out to the site text # with a key word like Ohioriders then their message and it gets sent out to all the people who have their # in the loop. I don't know if it's possible here on this site but it would work. Aother thing would be having it set for a region and having the keyword changed just a little like Ohioriders/NE. Maybe Casper would know because I have not a clue other than the text messages I get from time to time.

This guy has a lot of experience under his belt and every time I have every heard him give advise he is humble and honest. I have heard a lot from him that has helped me in my short riding experience.
