  1. Thanks for the advise. That option is on the table.
  2. Alright I'm looking for a jacket for my 13 year old. I would like to find one with armor and that is decent quality. He isn't going to ride all that much but I insist he has at least a protective jacket. Has anyone on here found any or used any? I have looked around and only found one. I really don't want to spend $200 on a jacket he is going to out grow quickly and only wear 5-10 times this season. Any help would be great!!
  3. You guys pick out some nice route plans. Just sorry I won't be able to make it. The wife is working and I will be home with my kids. Have fun and be safe!
  4. Thank you Sir for the pic comment!

  5. Still Rock and Roll to me. Billy Joel
  6. For me it would be one of 3. FJR1300, ST1300, Concours 14 Unlimited funds would have a larger bearing on where I ride and for how long. Instead of what bike I ride. The three I listed above would be my 3 best choices.

  8. Just like any group BS has good and bad people in it. They are real active up this way. I don't ride with them but I don't stunt. Some are pretty skilled at what they do others are just plain dangerous. The only thing they do that I don't like is stunt on the freeways. It gives the rest of us a bad name. I can't tell you how many times I have had people say some stupid shit to me about stunters and try to link me to them because I ride a sport bike. GTFO! BS and other groups like them are going to do what they are going to do. I just try to stay away from it. When they have closed course riding I can appreciate the stunts. Just keep it to the parking lots and off the roads.
  9. +1 The class is well worth the $25

  11. I will do doing the Louie run for sure. Heading out from the Wagon Wheel. If you figure out a map for your ride to Kinzua let me have a look. I would be interested to see what your plans would be. Most likely though I will be going out the route I posted before. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=embed&saddr=Depot+St%2FUS-322&daddr=College+Ave%2FPA-18%2FPA-58+to:Hadley+Rd%2FPA-358+to:Greenville+Sandy+Lake+Rd%2FPA-358+to:PA-666+to:41.560619,-79.243183+to:Kinzua+Rd%2FPA-59%2FWardle+Kinzua+Rd&hl=en&geocode=FRoBeQIdyJ40-w%3BFdTUdwIdoHA1-w%3BFYgCeAIdFpU2-w%3BFW1gdwIdPBk5-w%3BFUCXegId_xJF-w%3B%3BFYBjfgIdUnxK-w&mra=dpe&mrcr=0&mrsp=5&sz=13&via=1,2,3,4,5&sll=41.563445,-79.291248&sspn=0.06756,0.122738&gl=us&ie=UTF8&ll=41.516804,-79.749756&spn=1.439566,2.334595&z=8 I will avoid highways at all costs. If I'm on the highway for more than an hour I will go nutz. Way to boring!
  12. Welcome! Nice bike and I will see you around.
  13. I rode around for about a half hour today. Just stayed close to home. That is all.
  14. I used to wave all the time. Until I noticed most people don't even acknowledge me so I tend to do the helmet nod. If I do wave and there is no response they get the hello birdie!
  15. I'll believe it when I walk outside on Saturday!!

  17. If it does actually hit 60 I might go out for a while. Also depends on how much salt is left on the roads. A day or 2 of rain would be nice to clean of the roads a bit. If I do head out I will most likely just cruise within a 20-30 mile radius of Mentor.
  18. Copy the http. from imageshack and paste into the pop up window when you click on the insert image icon (sun and mountains pic.) on the top of the post reply page.
  19. I would say yes you need new rubber! The chain could use a good cleaning! Sprocket doesn't look to good either. If it were me I would just do it all and get it over with. Nothing in your pics look to great:nono:
  20. Here is another write up if you are truly interested in the filters. All based off of automotive filters though. http://people.msoe.edu/~yoderw/oilfilterstudy/oilfilters.html#recommended http://people.msoe.edu/~yoderw/oilfilterstudy/oilfilterstudy.html
