He's a communist! He even admits he grew up as a "teenage commie" Has stated on his show the American soldiers have died in vain. WTF tell that to all the families of the soldiers. I have friends that have come home from the war in Iraq and Afganistan. They feel as though they are fighting for a greater good. It's hard for us sheltered Americans to understand what other people in other countries go through just to put food on their table or in all reality their floor. He also has to be the most negative news commentator I have ever listened to. That's just to start. How much do you want me to elaborate my thoughts of this entertainer that is fooling people to believe he is a journalist? I undertand you may not agree with me. Thats fine you are absolutely entitled to that. But in all reality this conversation is not going to go anywhere. I have been debating this with so many people as of late and they get all the info they have from commentary. Like what Keith Olbermann conciders journalism.

We will agree to disagree. OK!? I'm fine with this conclusion. It would take days and a complete world history lesson to understand what all the situations are between the mid east, Africa and everywhere in between. I'm sure we would all learn a lot and I would enjoy it. But I would rather be riding or working on my bike.

And they most likely always will if people continue to focus on the negative. I hope people will look at the policies cause for whatever effects they may cause. Positive or negative. I know it won't happen anytime soon if ever! Specifically because people don't understand how the government works and chose not to educate themselves any other way than watching T.V.

I'm confused. So many people complain how the US is the global police dpt. In my opinion more countries should step up and deal with these conflicts. We are dealing with the Middle East. The UN has taken on Africa and royally failed. And will continue to fail as I stated above! I could go on for days about this topic but it's really not worth it. The whole matter is a no win situation! If we went to Africa instead of Iraq people would complain. If we sit back people will complain. When does the complaining end? No one looks at anything positive. I can see it is hard to be positive about something as horrific as war. But does the end justify the means? The only way you and I could know is if we finish what we start.

Rather pessimistic don't you think? Why are you so negative? Come on the big O is all about change right? Maybe he will change all these policies you seem to dislike so much. He has every opportunity to do this. Considering he has the House and Senate majority to do so. I wouldn't bank on a change for the better. But that's me! I can say I don't want things to get worse. But then I also believe we are fighting the inevitable. History repeats itself! This type of conflict has been going on since I can remember and all the history books I have read. So I see it as all we can do is defend ourselves. Witch is what we have been doing for many years. Even before Bush! Part of defending ourselves is defending those that are like minded on democracy. Unless you would think it is better to allow our allies to be slaughtered and just stand by and watch. So in the end all those that will stand and defend with us are dead and gone and we are standing alone. Maybe you want to be told when to eat, sleep, where we can go, and what we can do. The people we are fighting against have this goal. Just look at how they run their so called countries. To end my statement here. Why do you need to find it necessary to make this a black-white thing? I think many people have moved on. If not then Obama would have never been elected. :sad:

I agree with the princess. Specifically because of the line I highlighted. The UN can be praised for the epic failure in Africa. Some of the African countries went out and hired some Private Military Contractors. Theses PMC's came in and cleaned up some of the problems in Somalia and Sierra Leone. They came in and played hard ball with the Rebels. Fighting on the same terms (shoot to kill) not trying to negotiate like what has failed repeatedly. Instead of letting these governments make decisions for their people and there state, The UN has to trump their authority and make threats to remove aid unless the remove the PMC's from their territory. So the UN comes in and starts their tried and true failed negotiations with the rebels. In the process the allow Rebels to rebuild their forces and murder and mame numerous amounts of the countries citizens. While the UN stands by with their unloaded guns on their shoulders and pushing for peace with people who have no interest in peace by any means. I look at the different conflicts going on in Africa as the UN's baby. They have failed and will continue to fail as long as they don't realize war is a ugly situation. You must to whatever it takes to deter the wrong doers by whatever means possible. Which in most cases is fight fire with fire.

I have been landscaping ( Construction not a mow jockey) for 15 yrs. until early 08. Went to work for my day a his factory expanding perlite and vermiculite ore for the potting soil, plant growing industry. Stopped doing that after my motorcycle accident last year. Due to a separated shoulder and fractured rib. Now I'm talking to a large landscape firm about being a supervisor to watch over the crews and make sure all the projects are running properly and on time. So hope that turns out if not I will have to go back and labor at the factory.

Another thing to be considered is the post count. Svrider does this. You have to nominate someone with a min. of 20 posts. I think the reasoning is trying to keep it for the active members not just people who login once and don't contribute to the forum. I don't know if you have that problem here but if you do I would suggest you think about the post count being set at a min. My $ .02

I know some of the forums I visit have a poll for bike of the month. Personally I like the nominate other members bikes and not your own. Plus the thread seems to get alot of attention. Just a thought.

I took mine also last year at Lakeland community college up my way. It was well worth it and would recommend it also to all riders. I hope to take the adv. class this season also. Good info Jager!!
