  1. yeah? well, we can't all be as good as you, black tod, aka afro ninja
  2. i will not support this unless they allow concealed carry ninja swords as well. ninji are people too, and have the fundamental right to protect themselves from gun toting drunks.
  3. i think the price is pretty good, unless prices on these have come down a lot. i haven't looked in a while. if you have a number in mind, feel free to pm me. comparison-wise, the escort/Beltronic passport 8500 x50/RX65 are nice and maybe even possibly comparable in terms of performance, but reliability wise... I don't think they stand up. before i knew better, i had purchased a bunch of passport 8500's and RX65's for my family and they started failing one after the other (the dreaded "Service Required" or whatever message that keeps popping up, and the random and frequent laser alerts). This has kinda put me off the escort/bel products. Sure, you can send them in for like $65 or something, but my brother in law has had to send in his about 4 times already and is getting ready to send it in again. My V1 has been flawless since day one. If I drove crazy like any more, i'd keep it, but I just drive like a pansy. and my commute to my shop is less than 3 miles. anyway, post up if you have any more questions.
  4. 5k will take the ape with rebuilt title. Duc is no go lol
  5. actually, now that i think about it, the guy i bought the ktm from said since he ripped out of the air box, and put a pod filter over the TB, he recommended that i not ride it in pouring rain. so maybe i'll just bring the cbr.
  6. i only have like... 4 "real" bikes. the others are scooter, dirt bike (barely mine, friend is making payments lol), and a pitbike type of thing. 4 is not unreasonable, is it? i'm trying to sell the ape and the duc at some point. maybe i'll collect watches instead, they take up less space.
  7. bamp to clean up crap from my house
  8. bamp. trying to clear room in my garage for other useless crap.
  9. Howdy I'm not sure if anyone on here is into paintballin' but I'm getting rid of my stuff that I bought on a whim a year ago (til I got eye balls deep in track days). Here's what I got: Invert Mini, with the original briefcase looking box, and everything that came inside of it. I also have a maintenance kit thing for it and i think a "hop up" kit? I'll have to double check on that part. A 68/45 tank with nitro duck regulator. I think I also have a spare regulator for it. The hydro is good til later this year I think. Halo B with rip drive. Everything is in great shape, and it was greased, cleaned, etc before being put away. I'm asking $300 for everything. It's pretty much a very decent turn key paintball kit for the beginner player, and you won't out grow it right away. pics of the stuff:
  10. hit up the massage parlor nearby, and let us know if there are happy endings.
  11. go to google maps, type in your city, then look for "motorcycle" nearby. i guarantee you will find some dealer or shop within 30 minutes of driving distance that you could try on some gear at.
  12. i think KTM days makes you pay for damages... from what i understand, they charge parts close to cost and maybe some labor. i would just make you buy the bike at what i have into it lol no, but seriously, i would. lol but for seriously.
  13. haha do it. i have a 690 smc that i'll probably be switching back and forth from the 600rr with. still trying to decide if i'm bringing the ktm or 600rr or both. if you're seriously interested in riding, i can try to bring both for sure.
  14. well, depending on what group you're running, and etc. but outside of novice group, yes, leathers. dunno about peg sliders... i don't even know what that is, actually.
  15. i guess you could ride one or the other bike (600rr or ktm), depending on whatever it is i'm not riding during the session i'm out with break it you bought it rule in effect. isn't the honda ready to rock?
  16. i'm 25 min NE of cleveland. mostly do track days, but will be doing the occasional street ride. see you around.
  17. that's probably the willoughby hills cops. that stretch is VERY heavily patrolled.
  18. touring style boots (full coverage, easy to get in and out of) should offer plenty of protection, as long as the ankle protection is there (as in, they limit movement beyond the safe range). try on a few boots at iron pony or whatever dealer/shop near you that carries astars and sidi and etc and buy a set of used ones that are in good shape. you'll save a ton of money, and your lower extremities will thank you in a crash. or just buy new ones on clearance. believe me, i bought my sidi's on sale, but 2 of my friends who just recently got into riding bikes scored equivalent boots (slightly used) for $200 less in both instances. and that was with almost top of the line racing boots.
  19. howdy and welcome! i'll see you at pretty much any motoseries event, and maybe a ride or two if i can make it down that way this year. see you around!
  20. you guys are going to have the most fucked up make up sex evar.
  21. i decided it wasn't hideous enough. so it is now mostly awful blue with the front fender and tail section OEM yellow. oh yeah, it's that bad.
  22. i'm running, from what i can tell, the original OEM chain and sprocket. please god, let them last all season... they have about 19K miles on them, the last 6K being track and race miles. ...i should probably get a spare set just in case, but for some really strange reason, i can't find an OEM set in good condition. i thought the cbr squids would've changed out the chain/sprocket early on?
  23. jbot

    48÷2(9+3)=?

i'm not sure who threw down the challenge at all aspects of life first? can someone clarify using an equation?
  24. look for the most hideous blue 600rr you can find, and that'll be us. well, me anyway... the others may have wisely decided to park far far away at that point.
