if i was inclined to buy one for whatever reason, i'd wear it whenever i damn well felt like it and wouldn't feel the need to justify the statistics of my usage to someone about my possibly random need for a sense of security (if that was my reason for wanting one).

Ok, so I rooted and then froyo'd. So far, best thing about it is the wifi tether and flash support. Also, getting rid of a bunch of junk apps was a plus. And as fast as it was before, it is now even snappier than ever. Battery life is holding up too. All in all, pretty boss

we'll probably pit on the main road between the hill towards the bathrooms and pit in/out. whichever side has the most spaces free consecutively (shouldn't be a problem if we get there friday night).

ya, those are very difficult to remove unless you root. they won't slow down the phone any though, so i wouldn't worry too much.
