  2. in mother russia, does car really drive you?
  3. darn. if it was a bit longer ride, i'd think about it. unfortunately, even valley view is about 40 minutes out for me, so I'll probably wait til a weekend ride comes up.
  4. where you guys gonna go ride at? Metro parks area?
  5. if i answer the question in a non-xenophobic manner, would i be eligible for the puppy? i'm fresh out.
  6. That's the one! I plan on taking my leathers there at the end of the season to get cleaned
  7. price is nao $450 OBO. I can make it a bit cheaper if you let me steal the pucks.
  8. that's right. and craig's been riding around on what appears to be a bent rear wheel for god knows how long now, so do your worst "he who crushes on R1's"
  9. Will have a set of PP 2CT's coming up shortly. same as all the others. Fronts and rears will look good everywhere except the far edges. Really, the left edge will be in pretty darn good shape too, but the right side will be at the wear bar.
  10. oh ok. if it's STT and other orgs you are talking about, and you've done their novice days, and the "fast" group was too slow for you, then it sounds like you might wanna give intermediate a try. if you do, just grab an instructor right after riders meeting and get a tow around. i try to harass as many instructors as possible.
  11. wat there has to be something going on. they can't be THAT stupid, right?
  12. i think if you're talking NESBA, you'll want to get with an instructor the next time you're out and ask them if you should bump up. for other orgs, usually if the novice and/or intermediate group isn't stuffed to the gills, they're good about letting you go up/down. so if you're feeling brave, you can sign up for an intermediate day and if you feel you're in over your head, or you're getting lapped by multiple people, you can bump down (or vice versa). Not sure if you've done a track day with any other org, but novice is usually instructional, so you have classes and are riding in groups with your instructor.
  13. this is basically where i'm at. i almost dont want to sell the bikes and don't need the money, but want to buy something else i dont need to replace something else i dont need.
  14. how does the air shit kit reload? Does it make you pull into taco bell?
  15. I'm thinking that NESBA, STT, and Fasttrax/motoseries definitely have different "standards" for lap times within the groups. I've only done 1 day with NESBA, but I definitely think they're on the faster end as far as what they want to see for advancement amongst the groups. Gotta say, even as a STT and Motoseries fanboy, I like NESBA's approach on "placing" people into groups better than allowing riders to pick their own groups.
  16. awwwww maaaaaaaan that sounds awesome! why didn't i jump on that xr100 when i had a chance?!
  17. it is for the friday night practice. basically the same setup as the midohio max time twilight (5 to 8ish), open sessions. it's fun, but it's a bit bumpy and lumpy and that puts some people off. i wouldn't say it's any worse than say... grattan or gingerman in certain parts, but it's definitely rough around the edges. certainly worth a try, i'd say.
  18. from the looks of it, i'll just be doing the mini to get my feet wet.
  19. i'll be there with some people. feel free to hang out with us if you want some company. looks like I'll be sticking around on sunday to get pwned in the mini 20.
