i think i'm going to root it, put froyo on it (get rid of all that motorola crap) and go from there. really, that's the only reason i bought the phone (other than my storm had died from abuse)... cause i found out it was rooted in spite of efuse. actually, i dunno if it actually gets around efuse, but it's definitely been rooted and froyo'd. but froyo hasn't been rooted as far as i know. choices.

In case anyone else is in the same boat, I called them, and the lady on the phone said it shouldn't be a problem, but to ask the gate people. i also asked a couple STT coaches who coached there last year, and they didn't think it would be a problem either. We'll see... it's not the end of the world to just pull the trailer to columbus for the night. also, it looks like i'll be trying out the "new" suit tomorrow. hurray.

have you guys ever left your trailer parked there and go to a hotel or drive back to columbus for the night? I'm planning on driving to columbus, stay the night at my sister's and drive back in the morning. I'd rather leave the trailer there if they are ok with it since I'm abusing my poor car enough as it is.

good question lol. i'm guessing something like 8am to 5pm, but i'm going to have to find out. their weekend dates go from 2pm to 8pm, but i've never been to a weekday date before.

Also, if you wanna drive a bit further (but not that much further) check out sportbiketracktime.biz/ and look at the schedule to see where and when there is a STT day (Grattan, Gingerman, Putnam, many more), or there is motoseries.com and they have dates at Nelson's Ledges in Garrettsville, OH and Beave Run, and there is also NESBA and they have days at Beaver, Putnam, and quite a few other places. If you see any days/locations on any of those orgs, just post up and I'm sure somebody will be going to it that will help you out. I believe NESBA might even have a "get your toes wet" type of deal where you get to run a session or two for free. Just have to get your bike prepped (tape up stuff, etc). Also, STT and NESBA both have run events where there isn't a membership fee AND the days were discounted... a very good deal, if you just wanted to try it out. See ya out there!

just got my shipped confirmation. looks like it "shipped" on the 8th (which is a sunday, so they probably just picked it up) and i had 2 day shipping cause ordering from the store is ghey, so I'll get it on weds. looks like.

brief search on google showed that people who ordered their droid X's on aug. 2nd, are starting to get their "shipped" confirmations. i hope mine is in the same boat (note to self, don't order from the store, order online... can't believe i gave sales commission to that fucking schmuck sales kid) cause my phone is just about dead. The end button doesn't work, the back button barely works, blackberry messenger doesn't work right anymore, etc etc.

Hai gaiz I have a used Alpinestars P1 suit. it is a 2pc with full circumference zipper. All leather with pretty much untouched pucks (lulz). The suit itself doesn't have any scratches or rips/tears etc of any kind. I'll wipe it down with leather conditioner before I ship, and it has been cleaned on the inside and outside regularly. It is a 42US (otherwise known as 52 Euro). The lettering with clear overlay has faded. pic is attached. $400 obo + shipping these have served me very well, but I now have 2 other suits, and don't need a 2pc.

Hai gaiz All the take offs have almost 0 wear in the center, and close to the wear bar on the right edge. the left side is nowhere near the wear bar (many tracks are right turn biased) Prices are as follows for all tires unless otherwise noted front: $25 rear: $50 used rubbers, treaded for your pleasure: Dunlop 180 rear with the far right edge getting close to the wear bar, but center has less than a couple hundred miles, and the left side is also in great shape. I'll post a pic shortly. i have a corsa III front (pretty light wear) BT016 front (far right edge is close to or at tread wear bar, but the center and left hand side are down right meaty cause i'm a pansy on lefties and also cause most tracks are right hand turns dominated, but mostly cause i'm a pansy) BT016 rear (180) same as above, right side wear, left side and center are in great shape I pretty much use 120/70-17 and 180/55-17 exclusively, so that is what they are unless otherwise specified)
