loooove youuuu patches of the track were pretty crappy on sat (one of them was a wall of cones on the back straight taking up half the track approaching the kink) but they fixed them at the end of the day on sat and it seemed better. i also heard someone let loose some oil on the track and got black flagged. not aware of details on that.

great weather, great people, and fun times on track. congrats to all the novice class and race school grads. you guys rode great, and can't wait for the next one. got to meet a few new people and generally had a good time. also, nobody tell hollywood about the racing results other than expert class.

the one in texas is officially sold. dammit! buuuuut, i did make an offer to the guy in tremont and we've come to an agreement. now i just need to see the thing to finalize. he took it to a dealer to check out a sticky front brake when he took it out of storage (not sure what that is... i've had a lot of bikes and none of them had that) so I still haven't seen it. sigh. on the other hand, i did ride the 998 around weds, and that was fun.

when you're an upbeat motivational speaker like myself, I find it hard to keep my positive uplifting nature to specific sections of my life.

anybody new to the roads around here or to group riding or both should really hop on with these rides. it is an excellent group and the lead riders are fantastic and very newb friendly. they're also friendly with quicker riders. he tosses that sprint around like nobody's business when it's time to have some fun.

i am pleased that he took the time to pre-dust my plastics. that will make it easier to assimilate into my bike.

what are the xxx-xxx digit model numbers for the mitutoyos? what brand is the 6" and 12" calipers set? are they straight, chipped, bent? and is that a interapid indicator and what model is it? it's hard to tell because you've hired Michael J Fox to be your photog. if that's a non-crap brand 6"&12" calipers set, and the mitutoyos aren't the economy models and the indicator IS an interapid, i'll make you an offer. i generally use my CMM for production inspections, but my guys on the floor use industrial revolution era tech every once in a while. i appreciate the offer for instruction, though.
