I've been in florida and the coastal states all week on the bike getting wet. Said fuck it yesterday and got out. Perfect day for a ride up the carolina coast line.

Dude, I was riding by the speedway Friday night as this was getting started. I don't like nascar, but I bet going to a race would be fun. The track itself is pretty impressive, and it just looked interesting without the race.

do the rubber ear pad things come off? i have a set of headphones that use foam (similar to the disposable foam ear plugs) and they do a pretty good job of blocking out wind noise and would like to use those... i just don't like the headphones themselves.

They are designed to be worn under a helmet, and man, do they work. They really stay in in your ears, even when removing your helmet. Pretty comfy too, no sliding around at all. I haven't rode long with them, I'll give a better review when I get back from this Florida ride.

I wear a face shield most of the time too.

I like these shields like this. I think it looks pretty cool, almost like the headlight cowls I've seen popping up some cruisers like the V-rod and bif Suzuki Boulevard.

I bet it at least bounces the bugs over your head instead of into your mouth.
