  1. The TiTANS don't stick out very far at all.

They also come with 2sets of rubber buds and 2sets of memory foam buds.

The Memory foam one are the win. They don't move much at all.

And no matter what you get make sure it has the inline volume control. It makes life much easier.

Might have to try these. I don't like things in my ears(yes, including your toungue, J), but these might not be bad. I have a set of Shure over the ears that I velcro in the ear pockets of my helmet. Works pretty well. Think I'm going totry to find a way to rig some Bluetooth/ Wireless way of getting them to my my player. I hate messing with the cord when I put my helmet on.

  2. whats up with the dolphin? bike night?

Tom is being nice and pimping my band for me.

Pig Iron is always an option... They do have that huge lot thats hidden, problem is the neighbors would not appreciate live music

Pig Iron would be sweet. I can't remember what's right next to it, is it residential?

I wonder if a band would set up in the garage if it would dampen the noise some???

  3. HAHAHAHAH youre funny. Yea, that place gets no more of our business.

Im working on a new spot. Have one place in the works as of now. Its near gahanna - Hamilton and morse-ish I was actually thinking about starting a poll on what night people would want to do. Im thinking thursday (like I've done in the past) or maybe throwing the option of friday out there. I know some people wouldnt come on thursdays due to work. But I figured fridays people usually have plans... So um yea. Still up in the air.

Yota has been working hard to get one organized. He talked to me about it months ago, did a good job last year, and should come together soon.

We have been discussing Shallowtail playing at them regularly, maybe twice a month.

If we have several people trying to organize something in C-bus, they should get together and only do 1.

Thursdays or Fridays get my vote.

QSL and Kickstand will always get Wednesday traffic,

Tuesdays and Mondays just suck. :)

  4. I do have some experience with similar materials. This is not like most calendered wrap vinyl. Far more flexible. I know we are going to do some learning. Helmets could be wrapped I am sure, but why would you when you can get real carbons from us for $250? It will be a learning curve. Part of that will be spending more time on the projects than we may expect, no different than when starting anything else.

Glad to hear you have some experience. Now I have confidence you know that just because it is a cast vinyl specific for wraps,

it will not go down like magic.

I use similiar 3M products almost everyday(mainly IJ180CV3, 3M's top of the line wrap material), and I've been doing this for 10 years.

I mostly do design now, but my vinyl skills are still pretty good. If you need any tips or help, hit me up.

  5. Do you have anyone at your shop that has ever done anything like this? If not, plan on a long learning curve and lots of wasted material. Wraps(at least ones that look good) are not easy to do.

Trying to wrap a compound curve on a bike tank is like humping a fat girl; you do it if you have to, but it may not be pretty.

Now if you have someone who knows what they are doing, it could be cool. But do not underbid these jobs. We won't even do wraps, there is little money in them unless it is your specialty and all that you do.

  6. It's spring, new bike, I'll need crap. I'll be by to annoy you I'm sure.

Sounds like fun, always seems like everyone there really enjoys working there.

When I took the Honda in for a few things, the guys in service took great care of me. With you there, they can only get better.

  7. ok ok . Here you can take my advise as a golden ticket. Just Kidding. Anyways I have and still ride Bailey with me on the bike. No I don't have a belt for him to attach himself 2. as others have stated landing on him if anything were 2 happen not a good idea. I started riding him on the tank around the niehborhood when he was 4. I did this for 2 yrs. on his 6th birthday he went for a ride on the back to the whiteHall 4th of july parade. But he also had his own dirtbike and gear, and crashed several times. Now he has his own full face gloves and a very nice leather mesh padded Jacket. And is with me about 1 or twice a week. still not more than about a total of 10 miles. He loves bikenites @ hooters. But i do believe that 4 yrs. old is a little bit 2 small to be on the Back. Florida Rocks

I never meant that you He was strapped to you, but I thought he had a bungie with two handles that wrapped around you that he held onto just to extend his grip. Wasn't attached to either of you. Did I make that up or see it somewhere else?

    Something like this:

  8. Hello everyone, I live in Marion and would love to find people in the area to ride around with. I have an '05 meanstreak, so if you don't mind riding around with a cruiser, (seem to be a LOT of sportbikes here) I'd like to plan a ride sometime.

Welcome. It's okay to ride with the sporties. There are few crusier guys here, I'm sure you know if you have been lurking that long.

  9. I know VrodDave rides Bailey around, Bailey is a bit older though. He wears full gear, and has a strap he holds onto that wraps around Dave.

May want to ask him, I'm sure Fonzie knows what is going on as well like he said above.

I would wait at least until next season to put him on the the bike with you though. Give him another year to grow a bit and get some experience under your belt too.

An adult passenger understands the risks and usually can obey the safely regulations given to them by the driver. Not that your child wouldn't follow your rules, but a four old can easily daydream, and it could only take a second of him not being alert for something to happen.

I dunno though, the closest I have to a child is my mini wiener dog. I don't let him ride with me. He doesn't hold on very well. :)

  10. Been riding it for a new days now, I only get happier with the purchase.

I'm telling you guys that hate on on HD so much, go ride a newer one before you judge it. I am surprised at the level of comfort and the smoothness of the ride.

This bike makes riding my Shadow feel it is a dirt bike on a trail.

That is an outstanding looking bike. Black is my favorite color. From top to bottom it looks fucking awesome. Love the paint, rims, engine, shit everything about it.

    NICE!!!!!

Thanks!(to you and everyone else with something nice to say).

Me too. Exactly why it called to me and I why I bought it.

Already started personalizing it. Not going to do too much, but I will start making it mine slowly.

finally a bike on here I can keep up with!!! Nice choice though, hope you enjoy it!

Still breaking it in, but it has a little bit of giddyup.

I'm not a fast rider anyway, but it has some pick up.

deal!!! btw, i've never had a passenger before :) lol

Alright, I'll be you test subject.

RR. i told him we need to do Charleston again. Maybe a bigger select group this time and no rain.

    For sure. Mid April?

i tried to hook up with Art today but he was prolly too busy Hoggin to answer his phone. :D

Barely rode today, had a bunch of errands, showings that I had to take my dog out of the house for, and spent the afternoon rewiring lighting on the HD. Didn't see your VM until late. Can't wait to see the Z.

We can't wait to ride with you. I figure any other Harleys we pass will just be even more confused if you're riding with UJMs.

Yeah, should be interesting. Oh well. Next time we see a large pack, I'll lead and then all the sport bikes can zip by and really confuse the fuck out of em.

  11. I wave most of the time, hell even to scooters. I usually don't wave first though, I get bored with it.

It must be early in the season though, no one has been waving yet. I was on the HD and was even getting snubbed by other HD's and cruisers. I've got a few nods, but that's about it. No one likes me anymore. :(

  12. I like the look of it, though!

I have to say, my metamorphasis of riding started in my early years with dirtbikes, then in my late teen's/early twenties I would ride on the back of my friend's harley and now I ride my own bike, granted it's a squidly gixxer. Harleys have their place and you don't have to feel ashamed of buying one!

I would never get anything I was ashamed of. I love all bikes, each has their own personality, just like all of us, that's why we buy the bikes we do.

If you are ashamed to ride what you have, sell it and buy what you want or just stay home.

I just know there are few fanboys on here that will jeer other bikes with no justification and judge the person riding them, especially Harleys, hence the title.

I grew up in a rural area, I still have some redneck in me. I like Ford Trucks(I even like Chevy's and Dodge too), and some other hillbilly stuff. I'm drawn to Harley bikes for some reason, not their marketing, not the gear, the bikes just look and ride in the style that I enjoy.

Growing up my dad had some Kawi and Honda cruisers, and I thought they were the coolest thing.

He always wanted a Harley, could never afford it then. Now that he can, his vision is so bad he is unable to ride. I'm doing enough for both of us.
